I'm at mastery rank 7 and need suggestions on which weapon to craft to go through uranus and further. Specifically, I need a weapon that accepts rifle mods and a melee weapon.
I want a rifle weapon because I can use toxin with it, but not with a shotgun, since I don't have the mod for it.
I also want a reliable melee weapon on which I can spend a catalyst. When I use melee I almost always feel extremely weak, so I'm afraid to spend a catalyst on trash.
I have a secondary I bought with the starter platinum way back, the akmagnus, which is extraordinarily strong and has been extremely reliable on every situation. It literally carried me through some hard stuff. Need more like these.

u/Turtlewax64 Aug 11 '19
The Vectis is a sniper rifle, so you're dealing with a fairly low fire rate, but it is exceedingly good at deleting any head you put the crosshairs on, beaten only by its own prime. If you get up one more mastery rank, you would qualify for the Fulmin, which is an all around amazing gun, meta even at endgame.
Melee is a hard thing to advice for, because they're very mod dependent, a lot of great melees just kind of whiff if you don't have the mods to really maximize them, and some of those mods are incredibly expensive. Even their basic damage mod has a primed version that gets you far more power. Without knowing the fine details of what mods you have, I'm going to recommend the lesion. It's a good status polearm, with enough damage to chew fodder enemies and can use slash procs to handle bigger enemies. And later on, if you either have a lot of farming time to spare or about 70 plat to trade, Condition Overload can take the lesion from powerful to godlike.

I’m at Saturn on switch and finally built my first warframe, Frost but I’m not sure what to go for next. Any fun frames or weapons I can go for early on?

Try Gara. You'll need to do a fair amount of Plains content, but she's very strong.

do kubrow die if you dont care for them? Guides are saying they do but I cant find anything about it on the wiki
1
u/xoxoyoyo Aug 11 '19
The answer was that they used to. You would play some other game for a few weeks and then come back and get a message from ordis. Your animal was dying so it was taken away... LOL

I knew there was a change to it, just wasn't sure what. On March 28th, hotfix 24.5.7:
"Pets no longer suffer negative effects from a lack of Loyalty or Integrity! Integrity and Loyalty are now strictly a bonus on top of your Pet’s base Health and Damage. This also removes the function of auto-Stasis when Loyalty and Integrity hits 0, at which your Pet will just simply not have a bonus and continue to live peacefully. The Pet Incubator has undergone many changes, and these are small steps in a larger plan to simplify this system for a more streamlined structure."

u/CSL-Datsjive Aug 06 '19
Should I stick with deconstructor prime as my sentinel weapon of choice, or are there others I should consider?
1
u/psxsquall Aug 06 '19
You can equip a rifle weapon on your sentinel and equip the vigilante mods so they don't take up space in your primary while still getting the boost.

I can't rotate ship decorations right now because the control, instead of right click, is <DOJO_SELECTION_ROTATE>. Resetting the control to default doesn't help either. What can I do about it?

u/whty706 Aug 06 '19
What in the world is going on right now in the game? I went out of the country, and haven't really had a chance to get on Warframe since I got back, and I am so confused by all the beach stuff going on right now

u/xoxoyoyo Aug 06 '19
its just a silly summer activity. nothing to spend too much thought on. complete the 4 missions to get the rewards, then repeat the 4th another 6 times to get a ball and color palette.

then repeat the 4th another 600 times to get a enough balls for a ballpit and color palette.

Yeah warframe.market for anything not riven
Nothing really like that, you can check individual stats in waframe.market but no real way to get the best things to farm for if you want that: people do answer questions about it, but it's pretty long term stuff mostly, in general pure supply and demand works well, so new prime stuff coming out is a great way to farm some plat.

As for eidolon hunts most people tend to go for arcane nullifier x2 for immunity to the wave, since for energy we use pizzas and for staying alive we use harrow and trin and operator arcanes.
I personally also like arcane guardian for tanky stuff (the shield ones only for Hildryn). I prefer using a {Magus Repair} over Arcane Grace next to an arcane energize.
Must haves for me are 2 tier 3 arcanes of whatever kind to begin with, just for the additional revives.
1
u/CephalonWiki Aug 06 '19
Hello Tenno. Here is the information you requested.
Magus Repair
Magus Repair is an Arcane Enhancement for the Operator that restores Health to nearby Warframes while in Void Mode.
Want a summary of a subsection? Try {Vazarin#Protective Dash} or {Fishing#Mortus Lungfish} | Github | Subreddit |
2
u/xoxoyoyo Aug 06 '19
The two best would probably be arcane energize and arcane grace. NW had an energize last time and a grace this time. Last time you needed to complete about 60% of everything to get everything. People have hit rank 21, so they are about 2/3rds of the way. It seems like you can get 5 ranks per week and the event will probably run another 8 weeks. You only need to get to 26 or 27 for the main stuff so you should have plenty of time.

Sorry for all the noob questions. I’m excited to finally start crafting my first warframe, Frost! And it’s got me thinking. I currently have 208 platinum (38 for the beginning and 170 from the switch exclusive pack) should I only be buying weapon/ warframe slots with it, or should I be buying any cosmetics (in particular the the basic color palette are lacking) or prime warframe pieces?
For context of were I am, I’m at Jupiter and UR 4. I’m currently stuck their becuase of my lack of nanospores.
1
u/xoxoyoyo Aug 05 '19
IMO you should never buy anything you can farm. Color palettes, you can get some every so often through the game. If you want to buy the expanded palette, then sure. But other cosmetics... I mean if that is what you like to do, then cool. Primes... just crack relics and collect sets. build the first one and sell the rest.
1
u/Capitalpunishment0 Aug 05 '19
Have a new Warframe slot thanks to Nightwave. Chroma (+ his Prime) and Saryn (no Prime) are ready to serve now. Who should I get?
I assume Chroma is best used for Eidolon hunts but I'm not really delving into that stuff for now, FPS dips in the Plains. I'd get Saryn for nuking but my mod game isn't quite there yet, and I have Gara.
PS: I also have Zephyr Prime but I didn't like the gameplay of her vanilla so I haven't taken her out of the oven.
1
Aug 09 '19
Get chroma, and look into {concealed explosives} with a decent thrown secondary. He can be quite a force in most content. Dont dump any forma into him, just level him, sell him and then claim Chroma prime.

I don't understand when I should start doing Fortuna/Orb Vallis and Cetus/Eidolon. The starter quest requirements are very low, but the enemy levels vary from 10 to 30.
I'm MR3, soon to be 4, just finished the Stolen Dreams quest, finishing up Mars nodes, all previous ones done (with the exception of the Earth assassination). Pretty comfortable with my build, haven't had any issues thus far although it's probably not the most minmaxed setup. Been playing mostly solo, not in a Clan.
Should I finish up the main quest/star chart or should I give the quests Saya's Vigil and Vox Solaris a shot?
2
u/xoxoyoyo Aug 05 '19
Although you can do some activities there, you can't really make use of much that is available, and a lot of the things you find there only pertain to cetus/fortuna. You can spend enough time there to get the affinity cap daily, and perhaps rank up some but that should be it.

u/I_Said_What_What Aug 05 '19
All they do is open up free roam worlds, which will be useful later but don't mean much now. Keep trucking on the star chart IMO.
Also bounties in those area go up to 40-60, so no rush on unlocking it now.

I got a question I just noticed I have a pistol riven mod and it says do a survival with level 30 enemies without killing anything and I think holding a decaying dragon key.
So my question is which mission would be easiest for me to accomplish this and what frame that I currently have is the best to get this done?
My frames and their levels:
Sayrn-30
Trinity Prime- 30
Wisp- 30
Nekros Prime-26
Oberon- 15
Excalibur- 15
Frost Prime- 30
Rhino Prime- 16
Volt-1
1
u/Linkstore Aug 05 '19
Normally, you do this with invisibility frames, since life support towers are more than enough to keep you topped up. In fact, Ivara doesn't even loot too much, since enemies don't despawn in survival.
Unfortunately, you don't have any invisibility frames. But you do! Wisp is invisible as long as you're in the air, so just keep bullet jumping around and you'll be fine.
1
u/gaymacia Aug 05 '19
trinity for heal, rhino if u have the mods. Just just around lol. or you could join a lobby and just not kill anyone lol

So about thd Catch-Up mechanic, i've been wondering, if i missed 2 weeks will i be able to do their challenges or only the second one?
As in, i missed Week A and Week B, i do week C and Week B's challenges come back via Catch-Up, do Week A's challenges come back if i do Week B's or are they gone permanently
2
u/HowlEngel Aug 05 '19
They're all gonna come back, but it unlocks chronologically. So you have to do week B first before accessing week A.

u/usedtobezylem Aug 05 '19
My clan seems to have merged with another while I was inactive leaving me behind, so I turn to you dear people of Reddit. Two hopefully quick and easy questions.
Are there any good Fortuna guides that you all know of? I just came back to Warframe having taken a break to catch up on some games in my back log. (I quit Warframe about a month before Fortuna launched) Much like PoE I find myself lost and trying to figure out what to work on.
Are there still groups hunting Eidolons in PoE? I was just getting into it and still need to farm arcanes.
2
u/HowlEngel Aug 05 '19
For Fortuna, farming rep is way easier than PoE. One of the gals there, Ticker, sells debt bonds for credits and random resources (Ferrite, Oxium, Fortuna resources), which you can exchange for rep. Also, conservation gives lots of rep easily as well. This doesn't require any resources (aside from buying the tranq gun and lure initially), and Ivara or Equinox makes this a cake walk.
In Fortuna, you can make your own secondary, called kitguns. At the moment, these are the strongest secondaries in the game, aside from a few other god tier non kitgun secondaries.
You can also make your own pet moa, but I rarely see people use them.
One of the boss fights, the Exploiter Orb, gives a ton of resources, sometimes even rare ones. It also drops Lazulite Toroid which gives 12k standing per piece with the Vox Solaris, Quills' Fortuna counterpart. The Vox Solaris also sells the best meta brace amp part.
Yes, there's still a ton of eidolon runs. Just jump into a public match if you're anxious or you're not confident. As long as you have something other than the mote and a serviceable rad weapon, it's gonna be fine.

Depends on the weapon but typically no. Blood rush just way better and now you can add more elemental damage.
1
u/RevanLynn Aug 05 '19
I'm MR7 and just reached Saturn yesterday. I still don't understand how Levels work for enemies, and it's been kinda difficult to do some kind of missions that I used to do alone (like, Interception or Defense). Most missions are around "Level 25-30" right now, iirc, and they are hard, how I'm supposed to deal with the 30+ missions later?
For example, I couldn't do Vay Hek on ORO at Earth alone, because everything was just too much for me there to handle by myself, and the mission requires only MR5...
Also, just yesterday, the final Chroma fight was impossible, too many enemies at once to defend the relic in the middle, had to invite someone else (with Frost, if I'm not mistaken, that put a huge shield in the middle and made the mission easy)
I'm using Excalibur [30] since it's my most powerful Frame, with the orokin double mod upgrade, but been depending on the Exalted Blade (also with double mods). My main weapon is the Boltor [30]. I'm packed with high level mods for extra Energy, Vitality, Shields, shields recharge, rifle dmg aura, etc.
I do have a bunch of other frames, like Volt, Mag, Vauban, Loki and Oberon, with Rhino in the forge (it builds today! finally!). Nothing Prime yet, tho.
So, what should I do? Is Excalibur just not viable anymore at this point? Are these missions intended to do with groups now? I feel really lost. Any tip would be appreciated.
1
u/xoxoyoyo Aug 05 '19
ORO is really a third tier boss. Not surprising you had difficulty. You should be running coop unless you have some specific reason not to. In coop missions teammate kills will level up your weapons and frames. This is far faster than having to use everything. Excal is certainly endgame viable, especially if you can keep 4 active all the time. If you can't then your build is not quite where it needs to be. That will come as you get more mods and rank them up.
1
u/Dersuffbe Aug 05 '19 edited Aug 05 '19
The best method to gaining power early on is to focus on a few key mods and then selecting a weapon to fit them into.
The best early mods for damage are serration for rifles, point blank for shot guns, hornet strike for pistols and pressure point for melee weapons. These will increase base damage for those weapons.
Then there are 4 elemental damage mods for each type of weapon. Each elemental damage mod will add an amount of elemental damage based on that weapons base damage. These mods will add 90% elemental damage when at max level and cost 11 capacity. There are also "60/60" mods for each element and weapon type. These mods will add 60% elemental damage and increase status chance by 60% at max level costing 7 capacity.
So if all you have equipped to a weapon is its base damage mod and some element damage mods you will be doing pretty good
As has been stated the hek shotgun is a good weapon to load up.
For survivability stacking health, armor and shields works. Again, focus on a few mods and level them as much as you can.
Increasing your damage will greatly reduce the amount of incoming damage you suffer as everything will be dying much faster.
Excalibur is viable. Especially if you pick warframe mods that increase ability efficiency and strength, and then stacking as much damage and elemental damage on the exalted blade. This will let you use the blade for much longer doing great damage.
For a truly smooth early game experience fire up that rhino stacking as much ability strength as you can... you will be sitting behind a huge wall of ablative hp.... just be careful when your iron skin finally breaks as you might actually maybe get hurt then... otherwise you're fine.
As long as iron skin is up you are safe from knockdowns and staggers. Corpus nullifiers and falling off of cliffs are about your real threat.

u/I_Said_What_What Aug 05 '19
Weapon level != effectiveness.
Any weapon can get to level 30 but it's when mods are upgraded and forma is applied that makes a weapon truly powerful. On the 'returning guide' stickied post there's a section for how to mod weapons, take a look at that and some weapon guides on YouTube, hopefully those will help get you modding in the right direction.
If you haven't yet, build the Hek. MR4 shotgun that can one shot most enemies in the star chart when built and modded properly.

u/Brad_King Aug 05 '19
Have fun and don't try to follow the meta before you're ready.
The lore is pretty deep and the quests are great, but you will reach them when you're ready.
Try to level everything to level 30 even if you don't like the item and want to get rid of it: that's how you level mastery rank.
Find a clan and/or use the recruitment channel to get through star map nodes that are hard/empty and playing with a group that does not primarily focus on blasting through a level as fast as possible is a lot more fun at the start!
There are no stupid questions and lots of people want to help, but the main chat can be annoying :)

Give it to me straight, how bad/good is the Warframe Switch port? I need something to play on this thing besides Smash, Tetris 99 and NES games and my PC has been out of order for ages so how will my experience be? I never use portable mode so that performance is irrelevant.

u/I_Said_What_What Aug 05 '19
It's great. I'm on Switch in a clan that I found here and play both docked and undocked.
Turn on motion controls. Will make aiming so much nicer.

Is there a "fitting room" planned where I can equip all the stuff that I don't have and color it right before I buy?
It is really annoying when I want to watch multiple items interact with each other.

u/NicoleDZGB Aug 05 '19
I’m wondering what are some fun weapons to get early game. Most of the weapons seem to be very similar with the more interesting ones being behind high UR requirements, especially primary. Any suggestions?
2
u/RK0019K Aug 05 '19
Try the Sonicor and the Vectis. Both are MR2 weapons, the Sonicor is a secondary that fires balls of energy and knocks enemies around and the Vectis is a very nice single-shot sniper rifle with a very, very fast reload.

I'm a returning player who has just found out that my primary weapon that i have equip has had the required Mastery rank increased to one rank above what I currently am since I last played. If I change my weapon would I be able to re-equip it or would I have to wait until I rank up again?
1
u/xoxoyoyo Aug 05 '19
MR only applies to crafting and trading weapons/blueprints. once owned you can use them. And you can always buy weapons from marketplace regardless of MR.

It's a question that's been on my mind, if you get a prime frame can you set it's skin to look like the regular version? Can you set a mesa prime to use the normal mesas looks. Also can you use cosmetics for a normal frame on a prime frame.
4
3
u/Skrizzy Aug 05 '19
Yep, you can use the regular skin stuff on the prime variant, including other skins/helmets. I use base mesa helmet on mesa prime myself.

u/hyperhiromu Aug 05 '19
-
Any suggestion on to which frame is a good and bad candidate for slotting an aura forma?
-
Does Equinox's 4 automatically recasted or just turned off when you run out of energy while it's active?
-
Not really a gameplay question but is it just me or did the earth tiles got greener like more plants on both the ground and the walls? I haven't been to earth for quite a while and I never really noticed how green it was until today
3
u/erythry Aug 05 '19
For the second question, running out of energy will result in you needing to recast the ability. It won't be automatic and you will need to have the energy for its initial cast cost. The same applies to her third abilities.
AS for the last one, yes, recently earth tiles have been much greener with plant life.
5
Aug 05 '19
Honestly, Aura forma is a bit useless, especially considering its crafting cost. In almost all cases you just forma for either Corrosive Projection or Steel Charge and never use anything else.
That being said, i am a big fan of putting Aura Forma on Nova, as you can easily witch between Corrosive Projection and Power Donation then. I like Power Donation on Speednova as it cranks the speed up another gear, as well as make it simpler to check if you are in your speed or slow build without having to enter the workshop.
In a similar vein, if you got a frame you use Steel Charge on a lot, putting in an aura forma means you at least get the option of using Corrosive Projection. The 4 lesscapacity could make it annoying, though.

I’m new to the game , I started playing the game about four months ago, but was really overwhelmed with some aspects of the game and gave up on it shortly afterwards, now I recently picked it back up and am currently on Venus , any tips on what I should do first ?
2
u/Dersuffbe Aug 05 '19
My short list of items starting off were as follows.
Figure out how to do as much damage as possible with any particular weapon. This is a big topic but makes completing every other goal much easier.
Complete the start chart.
Figure out how to become as resilient as possible. Another big topic with multiple solutions and is very frame dependent.
Find the best location for acquiring each type of resource. Endo, credits, focus ect.
Eventually these broad goals lead to other smaller goals. Maxing out a single mod... building a warframe, learning a mission type.
Lots of places to go for info. Try to always confer with the wiki to figure out what something is and why you might need it the first time you encounter it.
2
Aug 05 '19
A good idea imo is to pick one singular goal and work toward that because there is a lot to the game. A good example of a goal to work towards is getting to the quest The Second Dream - which means working on the star chart and completing requisite quests. Or, you can look through the wiki's list of warframes, pick one you like, and try to do what you need to get that warframe. Just take the content piecewise and you'll be fine =) if you find you're not enjoying or having significant difficulty what you're doing currently, maybe look to a different goal, it's possible what you're doing is intended for more geared players later on.
2
u/Bazookasajizo Aug 05 '19
Dont worry about anything else. Your only focus should be completely starchart(unlocking planets). Even if u think about doing other stuff, u will be overwhelmed because it will be certainly difficult.
Do as many nightwave acts as you can. Due to removal of alerts, nightwave is only way to get vauban(warframe) parts, nitain extract(u will need it but later) and those reactors and aura mods.
Once u unlock uranus, u will know what to do next.

Why is Chroma’s 4 useless in missions but one-shots everything in the Simulacrum? Is it a bug?
2
u/Happy_Prime Aug 05 '19
What level are your simulacrum enemies? It's unusual for Chromas 4 to kill anything at all. It's almost only used for its credit doubling buff

If you believe plat you've received via trade is illegitimate how long should you go before spending it?
-
Is a Fulmin Riven worth 700p?
2
u/Happy_Prime Aug 05 '19
If you have reason to believe it might not be legitimate, it might be worth making a support ticket expressing your concerns. Sit on the plat until support gets back to you. Hopefully then, if it wasn't, the transaction can just be cleanly reversed.
1
u/xoxoyoyo Aug 05 '19
average asking price is 1540p, not that it is realistic, but yeah, 700 is a good value.
1
u/LoveThyLoki Aug 05 '19
Is it true that once you max out and use whatever rare item to level up a syndicate it doesn’t whatever last level you ranked it up? Multiple people and things have said this I just want confirmation before going so far. I have New Loka, the Perrin Sequence, and now Red Veil at rank 5 and was thinking about trying to get The Steel Meridian up to rank 5 as well but am not trying to use another rare frame part and time to grind the others back up. Would this work basically
2
u/xoxoyoyo Aug 05 '19
ok, the way it works is that you only pay for initiations the first time. BUT you also have to pay to get SM out of the negatives. So from -44000 to 0, then pay a potato, then from -22000 to 0, then pay a forma, then from -10000 to 10000 and at that point you can do the SM missions. If you have like 1 million worth of red veil medallions, you can turn them in, only enough to rank up SM each time, for relic packs. SM will get 1/2 of what you turn in. so 88k then 44k then 20k and so on. You can rank up SM into the positives, even max rank if you have enough medallions. RV Medallions will not affect perrin or loka. Equipping SM sigil however will drop perrin and loka. Every time you lose a rank you regain the standing that that rank cost. So instead of just burning the standing away you can spend it on buying stuff.

I think I have just enough to craft garuda.

Are the talons worth it? Already have a few zaws, desterza prime, and a paracesis at rank 40 lying around.

What's garuda's go to purpose? From reading her abiltiies, it seems her first ability is her go to?

u/SlasherLover Aug 05 '19
They're good for claws, but if you have better weapons or something you like more just use that. Experiment to see what works for you.
Garuda's a tank. She can block damage with her shield ability that you always want up, but with her other skills she can also regen health and energy.

They are more of an annoying fight due to how agile they are and how tiny the weakpoints are, than a hard fight. They spawn randomly, when you have the highest difficulty bounty active.

Theres only 2 kavat breeds, Smeeta or Ardaza, so you have a 50/50 shot at getting a smeeta. (try explaining that to my 10 smeetas and 1 ardaza but i digress) The drop buff comes from the smeetas precept {charm} mod. There are different Ear, Tail and face patterns that you can roll for each incubation, but the charm mod will work on any of them. if you want a guaranteed chance at a smeeta, trade for 2 smeeta imprints and breed it that way.

You make the first kavat, buy genetic imprint blueprints, make 2, grab the dna from your kavat, then trade those with someone that has the opposite type. There are only 2 kavat types, smeeta and adarza.

Is the Sanctuary at the relay the only way to get to the Simulacrum or is there a faster way to get there? It would be nice if we could just jump there from our orbiter, since the game shows our orbiter flying while the Simulacrum is loading.

You can go straight to Simaris' room from the syndicates menu, but there's no way to go to the Sanctuary without entering a relay in some manner.

So I just started playing again and I am using rhino right now and I am starting to get my ass kicked. I just got to uranus and finished saturn and something doesn't feel quite right. The junction bosses barely get hurt by my guns and my melee charge attack is the only thing that can really kill anything fast.
The weapons I'm using are Soma Prime, Dex Furis, Scindo Prime. Maybe I am just not using the right/good mods?

For soma, as with almost any rifle the basic 4 mods you want are serration (damage), split chamber (multi shot), vital sense(crit damage), point strike(crit chance), provided the weapon has at least a base crit chance over 10%. More is better obviously.
After that since soma does a lot of slash damage creating viral (combine cold and toxin damage) damage and increasing status chance will greatly increase the effectiveness of your slash (bleed) procs. As viral damage cuts max hp in half your bleed procs will be worth more per tick. So 60/60 mods for cold and toxin check both those boxes, if you don't have those raw elemental damage is fine too.
Finally fill in the last two slots with more raw elemental damage or a vigilante armaments for more multi shot, or hunter munitions for a second albeit limited chance at slash procs. Most of the time more elemental damage just wins.
Max everything you can.
This set up will work for the whole star chart.
Soma prime does feel lack luster in higher level content, it's good but just not as effective as other options, especially power houses like ignis wraith and amprex...

As people said, you definitely want to oy attention to your mods; should try to max all of them, starting with your basic serration, intensify, vitality etc. For rhino i would go for intensify and steel fiber, to boost his 2, and continuity for dmg boos from his 3. Also your weapons, you might want to try a few different ones. IMO soma's good, but you certainly can find much better alternatives to furis and scindo. Pytana prime should be easy to get, and as for melle even an aterrax could be recommended (although don't get trapped in spin2win fanclub). Good luck tenno

The last 1/3 of the chart you need to use frames and weapons that have potatoes and possibly even forma. mods need to be maxed. You should have the corrupted mods, a fairly full set of the rare mods and be working on primed mods. If you see builds you should be able to come close to it in some fashion. You can still level stuff up, but do that in coop missions where they can level passively.

If you're struggling, it's almost always the result of your mods. If you post your builds we can help

Mods, mastery, completion, quests, factions? What should I work on in what order? Just got to saturn

Focus on clearing the star chart and collecting mods for the builds you want.

When killing the Profit Taker, do I have to place Chroma's Effigy within 10 meters of where the credit spawns?

How in the world can to beat the Jupiter junction as volt? I’ve looked up strategies and none get me even close.

u/chrismeds Aug 05 '19
Volt has an invincibility shield. Use it and a good dmg wep like fulmin primary fire, or kohm with fire rate (weps should have mods of course). Most weps are fine if modded well

Did you take the mk 1 bo if so slide in get the first attack to stagger and slowly beat her to death one hit at a time. If not, get a hek or a Excalibur

I'm pretty new to the game (necessary disclaimer LOL. I'll try my best to explain, but I still don't know all the mod names off the top of my head, and my explanation might be unnecessarily vague) but I ended up beating Jupiter with Volt very recently, so it's still very fresh for me! It took a bit of doing but here's my advice:
Equip a strong primary gun. I used a sniper rifle, but anything with high damage (esp. piercing type) output should be fine. Upgrade your damage mod with Endo. Toxic + electric element mods installed together to turn the damage type to corrosive will help. Valk has high armor, so piercing type damage would probably be preferred? I'm not actually positive. This is what my friend told me, and it served me just fine!
Mod your Volt for ability efficiency, duration, and health. If you have mod space left over, throw an ability strength mod and one that increases your max energy on there too. Definitely upgrade those mods a bit! It'll make a huge difference. The valk fight was the point where I learned the hard way what a massive difference upgraded vs. not upgraded mods was. As previously mentioned, a few ranked mods is much better than a bunch of unranked mods! Plus, you can use the same mods in all your frames, so it's not like you're ranking them up just for Volt. I would at least rank ones like vitality up to 5-7. Beyond that, the Endo cost gets kind of prohibitively high for early content. From what I understand, you will wanna max it eventually, but for the point we are at, it's serviceable.
Equip a fast melee weapon with piercing type damage. Mod for damage, corrosive, and attack speed. Definitely at least upgrade your damage mod, if nothing else.
When her health bar turns gray, run away. She's gone into an ability that makes her invulnerable and and her hands become food processors LOL. If she hits you while that ability is active, she will drain your health. Also it hurts and you will probably die.
Her other abilities are a rip line that she will either use to launch herself at you or pull you to her. A buff I'm not sure if she used at all in my fight against her that increases her melee speed, and an aoe that stuns briefly and deals a negligible amount of damage in a radius around her, but she might use to lead into her blender mode.
For me, I used my sniper rifle and played keep away from Valk. Threw down my shield ability (ability 3) and aimed at her head. The shield will boost your damage when you shoot through it, and it'll protect you from her gunfire as well.
If you prefer melee, stun her with your 1 or 4 abilities, and just absolutely lay into her with your melee. Recast 1 and keep up momentum until she's down. I don't recommend this since I don't feel particularly safe so close to her knife hands, but you know. There are people braver than me out there LOL.
I hope that helps a bit! Also note that your ability energy regenerates at a slow but set rate in the junction fight. Efficiency will lower your casting cost of your skills. Duration will make your persistent skills (like your shield) last longer, so you have to re-cast them less. If you find yourself out of energy, just do your best to play hide and seek with her until you build up enough energy to cast your skills (or be smarter than me and buy/craft some energy restores, but really. Thinking ahead? What kind of person does that? Absolutely ridiculous). If your 3 skill isn't down, don't stop moving. If your 3 skill is down, you're safe as long as you keep it between you and her. Use that time to get as many headshots in as you can.
Good luck, fellow Volt buddy!

Finished the quest on Fortuna for my K- drive. What else is there to do in Fortuna?
