Does anyone else wonder what it would be like for the crews of Star Trek to battle the enemies of Warframe? Like imagine Picard or Kirk going up against a Grineer or Corpus attack. Would the Corrupted just beam onto ships? That kind of stuff...

Was gonna come back to gungeon when the patch hit on the switch, but i've been enjoying warframe as a new player recently (72 hours) on the same platform. Also got to beat wolf 3 times today within the span of 2 hours. 3x molten melee mod tho.

I still haven't gotten my khora neuroptics, it's been 4 1/2days now.... i'm gradually questioning if the khora neuroptics really drops in rot b wave 6..... For every SO i'm starting to be frustrated...i've never been this frustrated in my life..... That neuroptic is my last part so why can't i still get it?... i'm starting to hate the game tbh.... all my efforts is getting destroyed by some wheel of fortune......... the fact that i get more khora chassises (3) with a lower drop rate than one god damn neuroptic is baffeling.... i'm starting to question my life choices....

Kinda tired of warframe atm. Still play it regularly but don't really have much of a motivation to play it. Sitting at 1.8k hours in game. I wouldn't be playing but Sekiro can be brutal with the demon bell at times so need a change of pace from time to time.

Speaking of Sekiro just beat the Guardian Ape last night and am currently farming exp in the Watermill route. 1.2k exp is spicy especially now that I need upwards of 7k exp per level. As long as I've known From Soft, they have not disappointed me one bit. Yes I loved souls 2 too. And exploring in Sekiro is such a blast with how pretty the game is.

This game looks fun but I’m scared to start it because it looks so complicated. What do I do???? Lol sorry I’m a noob

it looks so complicated.

Just get your 0 fucks attitude out. You really cannot do any permanent mistakes just downloading and goofing around. Learn things step by step. The community is very helpful and nice for the most parts !

Teach me the ways brother

There are only two things you really need to understand:

  • Mods - get them from missions, upgrade them and equip them. Mods is where the real progression lies.

  • Weapons - get blueprints from the market (for credits, not platinum), build them in the foundry, equip and level them.

All other knowledge can wait until you are enjoying the game and invested enough to look it up.

The game is overwhelming as it explains very little and throws a lot. There are a lot of guides though, and a very friendly community. I suggest you help yourself with both of those, and take your time. The only bad decision you can take is with your platinum (as it as real world "value"), other than that, even if you experiment and fail, it's nothing you can't fix later on in game.

TLDR: I won't be playing slova for index nightwave challenge in pubs if there's limited playing time.

I lost my trust in playing slova in pubs for the 3 wages without the enemy score a point nightwave challenge because I thought I can finish this challenge in 30 mins but stretch to an hour. When there's a quiz to study and a full time job, time is precious. I thought I just going to do this challenge then do my cheat sheet for the quiz but I was wrong.

First load into a group, group composition was nearly perfect with Limbo, Rhino, probably excal umbra or rhino. Lost the challenge because timer countdown. After that run, they left the group.

2nd run, there's equinox, rhino and octavia. I do what I usually do for playing nova, press 4 but equinox told me to not use m prime, so I didn't use and I not sure why. After first round, they extract so I did and left the group.

3rd run, there's excal umbra and I forgot the other 2, maybe rhino?, major oof with this one because enemy able to score a point. Everyone left the group.

4th run, there's octavia, rhino and another rhino. Lost the first round because of timer again but they stick around for another run.

5th run, Octavia said let rhino take the points in caps, so I let them. This time 1/3 of the challenge achieved but they want to extract after 1st round so I also extract without knowing why.

6th run, they stuck around and start mid tier index. I'm like go ahead with it, they also extract after the 1st round, so I left the group.

7th run, load into an atlas and rhino and a mag specter. This run able to complete the challenge because atlas put a rock barrier at enemy turf. So to that atlas and rhino that carry that run, I want to thank you guys for the carry.

Next nightwave, if this challenge pop up again, I either play nova knowing that I have a lot of time or not complete this challenge or farm atlas and build him for this index challenge. As to why I thought I can complete this challenge in 30 mins, previously when this challenge pop up, I was able to complete it in 1 run in pubs with limbo guarding the enemy score point turf and 3 of us keep running around.

Next nightwave, if this challenge pop up again

My dear friend ! Next time just come to recruit chat. We don't bite ! Seriously !

My team brought double limbos, rhino, and a Mesa. We simply kept a stasis cataclysm active on both goals so it was impossible for them to score. Did the lowest wager so we only needed 50 points per wave and finished on the first attempt.

I got the best drop you could possibly get from the Wolf...

North Wind.

On the other hand, I did also get 2 heads and a handle in my other encounters with the Wolf.

3

u/HulloHoomans Apr 17 '19

I hate you and your despicable RNG luck. Next time you see the wolf, ask him why he doesn't even call or write me.

1

u/veackslav Apr 17 '19

Honestly those were the only four times I beat him in the 15 times he’s spawned. The other 11 times I was leveling low level gear... rip

If you do a sabotage mission where you destroy a ships reactor, you can set the entire ship on fire. If you don't escape fast enough, you die and fail. There are other ways to sabotage the reactor though (can freeze it by putting a coolant cell into the reactor core, or overload it by putting a fusion core into the coolant system). Most players simply stick the fusion core back into the reactor with the safeties and cooling systems disabled, resulting in a meltdown.

  1. Nidus. Not a waifu frame, sorry.

  2. Probably Ember. Or else you were on a mission where the theme is the ship is leaking fuel everywhere.

  3. No idea. Never played Overwatch, who's Reaper?

  4. A forma is something you can put on a frame or a weapon to halve the cost of whatever mod is in that slot, assuming it has the same symbol. You can get them from cracking open relics, they're not particularly rare. They are a bit pricy to build though. Running the infested missions on Ceres is probably your best bet to make the credits you need to build them, at least until you can clear the Index on Neptune. Just do the first round (5 defense waves or 5 minutes in survival) and then extract, you're just there for the static 20k credits you get for completing those missions, you only earn like 3k from the rounds.

  5. That's Nora Night. She was added in the last patch, she's basically the announcer for the new "battle pass" system.

  6. Spoilers. I think that one's covered in a later quest called The Sacrifice. It is important though.

Hydroid has tentacles everywhere. He definitely a hentai frame. Not so much waifu material.

6

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '19

MR15 here,

  1. The Hydroid frame has an ability where tentacles sprout and attack enemies.

  2. Some tilesets are literally spaceships that are on fire. Otherwise you might have been playing with an Ember frame who lights stuff on fire.

  3. Closest I can think is the Mesa frame who basically goes high noon for her ult.

  4. Forma are used on equipment to give it a polarity, allowing you to half the point cost of mods. This leads to putting higher lv mods on your equipment. Get as many as you can.

  5. That's Nora, she's the voice of nightwave, which is the new system of daily/weekly challenges to unlock some unique items, weapons, mods and cosmetics. You get out what you put in for that.

  6. No spoilers.

  1. Tentacles everywhere is most likely Hydroid, the pirate frame or Nidus the infected frame. Generally, if you see tentacles that means Hydroid is using an ability that makes enemies drop more loot, so let them do their thing.

  2. I'm assuming you fought the grineer, who have multiple enemies that shoot fire in big rings. try to dodge through them, or just run away.

  3. I'm assuming the reaper ult guy was Revenant, a frame that's pretty hard to get whose ult shoots lasers n every direction while dancing.

  4. Forma is pretty important. You know how some weapons have those polarity symbols on their mod slots that lets you put certain mods with matching symbols in there for cheap? Well Forma is what lets you add a polarity to a mod slot, so they let you fit in more mods. Try to make as much as you can, by opening relics to get the blueprints and building them in foundry.

  5. Nightwave is a new thing to warframe, by completing certain challenges every few days and every week, they give you cool stuff. You can see what challenges they have for you by hitting escape and clicking on the nightwave banner in the bottom right.

  6. Don't ask about the dead octupus, just accept it.

I have a job interview. If I get the job I'll move to Georgia... by myself. I won't know anyone. I'm excited, but also scared as hell. What if I hate the job and I'm stuck there for a while. Things to think about I suppose.

In other news I just saw Hellboy; man was it bad. But I had a fun time.

Was very disappointed they did that instead of finishing up Guillermo Del Toro's version. The first two were phenomenal. Shame they didn't do well, I guess the switch from gothic/eldrich to celtic horror was too much for the audience.
