Someone is in that undetonated torpedo. They made a huge deal about it. It's not just a bomb. That's a dude in a tube.

The speeches while the time ticks off the clock drive me nuts. Like, um, THE EVIL AI is COMING. Places? Or no, Pike goes through roll call.

They didn't have anything else they needed to do. The bridge crew were waiting for the time crystal to charge, and everyone else was at battle stations ready

This episode seemed so cinematic! I think it will be much better when you can watch it back to back with the finale.

Wait...if the time suit is just in the Starfleet database, can't Control force a time crystal from Boreth, make its own variation and travel to Discovery's future timeframe?

I think I’d give Georgiou MVP for that episode, between her disgust at the Enterprise bridge (Orange?), suggesting they kill millions of people & then saying “I thought there were no bad ideas” and her “I’m Terran” moment it was all gold. And even holding the ice cream! And her obvious love for Burnham. Michelle Yeoh is a TREASURE.

OK I absolutely don't get the problem here ... what's the deal of time travel to the future? Why can't they just take their ship to a high sub-light speed? Traveling to the future is the easiest thing in the world. It can be done with (sort of) current tech even.
