I don't get how Sara doesn't even rate a moment with her Dad. Or why no one else besides Laurel even considered that his life threatening wound might mean he should talk to his daughter. Just..what?

"you're a really good father"
"so are you”
"I had a really good example”
"your dad was a good man”
"I'm not talking about my dad”
an off screen death after that is just brutal

What a waste of Caity Lotz - hardly said anything and barely even got to react to Lance’s death

OK not for nothing but what was the point of having Sara on?
ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING SHE JUST MET THIS LAUREL
"Are you like my Laurel?"
"Nah not really"
Ok moment over, Quentin's dead.

Stephen Amell and Paul Blackthorne are amazing actors and you can really feel the emotion that these two men have built up for 6 years of sharing a screen and going from antagonistic to father-son. Paul Blackthorne we’ll miss you.
I was relieved that Arrow is saving Diaz to hopefully give him a better showing, but at least he was able to leave one lasting mark in the form of Quentin’s death. With that he’s nowhere near the other antagonists, but not bad in my book
Action was pretty strong too.
Ultimately, like last season, we’re gonna have to wait to see whether these consequences stick
Pretty solid finale, but nothing great.

If Sara has a time machine and still can't arrive on time what does that say for the rest of our chances arriving anywhere on time?

I think we can all assume its the citizens that demand the release of Oliver.

Arrow doesn't usually make me tear up, but damn, I teared up at that scene in the hospital between Amell and Blackthorn. Good job guys.
I would have loved it if the ending had continued with a harsh "Gone and got yourself into some trouble, huh, Green?" Cut to Mick in a prison uniform sitting on the bed. He holds out his hand to Oliver - and opens it to reveal a Time Bureau transporter. "Come with me if you want to live." End season, and next year Oliver spends the Legends season opener on the Waverider before going back to Star City for Arrow's premiere.

I am in disbelief that we have to put up with Diaz for another season.

So why does Paul Blackthorne think dying offscreen is “a nice exit”?

Why can’t Ollie get a pardon from the president? He did help save he world and was honored. I don’t get it.
Every time felicity cries I relive season 3 and hate myself. She was a waste of minutes.
Why bring in Sara if she can’t have a good bye?
Finale sucked

The writing for Arrow and Flash have been 100% terrible this season. It feels extremely formulaic, lazy and really really corny. There are multiple plot holes in every episode. I still watch both because of the potential they bring and what they've been in the past.
Both of these shows have gone off the rails because they started focusing on the drama of all the surrounding characters. They need to get back to Oliver and Barry simply being the green arrow and the flash and focus on them being superheroes. Stop trying to make this a show for teenage girls just because it's on the CW. Drives me insane

Okay so Season 7 is going to be Diaz and the Longbow Hunters as villains? All this bullshit this episode and this season and Diaz still got away? That's so disappointing.

This episode: Oliver apologizes, then the person says it's ok your cool, then Felicity gets shoved in. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Also you are telling me Diaz can survive a face beating, then getting STABBED, then getting hit by a canarie cry, then flying off a at least thirty foot high building into water? What the flying fuck. This show sucks the life outta me goddamn it's ridiculous. I know Oliver fell off a mountain after being stabbed but for real that was dumb too.

-
Quentin scenes were great.
-
Oliver's goodbyes to everyone were nice, and honestly, even though it annoys me, I think the way they're brushing off the earlier conflicts with the team is for the best, cause I don't think they could have legitimately resolved that in a satisfying way. Kind of better to not even try.
-
Oliver going to prison is ehh, considering how bad they are at making things have consequences.
-
Diaz not being stopped completely is odd, but using him to segue into the Longbow Hunters for S7 is neat. Having some sort of idea of what S7 will be is nice, because it shows that they might actually have some idea of what S7 will be. That being said... as someone who hasn't read LH but has a vague idea of what happens in it, I'm a bit confused because most of the characters in that have already come and gone in the show, right? Shado, Fyers, etc.? EDIT: Neeeevermind, Longbow Hunters the comic series and Longbow Hunters the group are two different things apparently, oops
Overall, a pretty decent finale to the most inconsistent season of TV I've ever watched. There were some really good episodes, there were some really bad episodes, and there were a whole ton of mediocre episodes. It's pretty sad that it seems like, with the exception of Laurel, the only lasting consequences from anything in this season started in the last episode. I'd never imagined an entire season of a show could feel like filler, but here we are.

Now that Ollie is a criminal, Argus should be able to grab him for Task Force X right?
