Eh felicity was alright it's just that her and Oliver don't really click. Her entire personality is about being goofy and nerdy but it gets weird when she needs to be serious and romance.
It just looks awkward around Oliver whose more of a 'badass'

William hiding in his room because Dad broke a vase and yelled at him. Lmaoooo that kids like 14
17
u/nikktheconqueerer Apr 15 '18
Dude if my dickhead father broke my science fair project that I spent weeks on I'd be fucking pissssssed. Id definitely go into my room, lock the door, then play Injustice 2 and kick Green Arrow's ass
7
9
u/iSrijan Apr 15 '18
I’m pretty sure that it was his project, not a vase..
3
u/dimesniffer Apr 15 '18
Could be but still he hid in his room lol
5
u/iSrijan Apr 15 '18
Yeah but William said “Thanks for helping me remake my project” or something along those lines to Felicity after they get back from the fair. Plus, it’s not like William started crying or ran away, he went to his room because he was mad at his dad for getting pissed at him and breaking his project when he didn’t do anything wrong..

u/tresclow Apr 14 '18
Wild Dog in the bed kills the hallucination mood completely, it made me laugh. At least he could have worn the hospital gown as with Laurel.

I am hating Felicity right now. I understand that Oliver shouldn't have lashed out and broken William's science project, but shit has gone down in the last couple seasons and for some reason, they blame Oliver for all of it.
11
u/WaterBullet Apr 13 '18
Felicity didn't actually say she wanted to split up. It was a hallucination.
6
u/isdatlemonade Apr 13 '18
Yeah I posted this comment right after that part. Maybe I should've waited until the end of the show haha
1
u/SSEliteLava Aug 14 '25
I know this is 7 years old, i hope you don't mind me replying but i did the exact same thing last week, saw felicity split up with oliver and was livid!! Of that had been rea;, felicity would meet the wrath of us fans lmao

The moment Adrian showed up knew this ep is gonna be good. Man it was awesome. Can we hit Oliver with vertigo now and then just to bring Adrian on screen ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
13
Apr 13 '18
Fake wife Felishity has to die already, I am tired of an OC-Mary Sue.
8
u/Orrison123 Apr 14 '18
I don’t like her either, but you seem like the most virginal kind of fan, getting angry over a character and calling them names.
Chill out
-1
u/Shinjukugarb Apr 14 '18
nah, fuck that character for being shit. and the actres can sit and spin for being a terrible actress. "oliburrrrrrrr"

Hey, I found a Olicity fan, wanna know what I also found? In google if you search Felicity, one of the most browse questions is ... "Will Oliver and Felicity stay married?" Uff, such fate has to be eye tearing.
15
u/hamzaalam123 Apr 13 '18
She wasn't even bad in this episode in the slightest, guys like you complain over everything, you're as toxic and negative as the Olicity fandom
24
Apr 13 '18
I can't believe we just had Adrian Chase say he predicted everything then follow it up with 'it doesn't change anything'.
6
Apr 13 '18
Was it worth watching. Because I can’t convince my self to watch this and last episode
21
Apr 13 '18
Totally. This episode was actually good.
The last one wasn't great, but
John said some stuff this reddit has been saying for years , and that part felt good to watch4
62
u/the_cunt_muncher Apr 13 '18
This kid cloned a cabbage or some shit? Wasn't he like borderline retarded at the start of the season? Like couldn't even identify a triangle or solve like 3x = 6 without Fefe's help?
9
11
u/redditingtonviking Apr 13 '18
Writers can't separate toddlers from high schoolers
6
u/PSN-Colinp42 Apr 14 '18
They really can’t. Although this is the correction so I’m fine with it. Earlier I was like why is this 16 year old acting like he’s 8?

u/Eagleassassin3 Apr 13 '18
No drama is better than stupid drama.
Good drama is better than no drama.
He's complaining about the drama that's in the episode, which was really stupid coming from Felicity. He's not complaining about drama itself, but he's complaining that the "typical drama" we have is always there, and that typical drama is terrible.
1
u/Fearandflow Apr 13 '18
The writing in this episode was super garbage at the start. Like bitch please "taking space" because the dude is stressed the fk out when what happened was an accident what terrible writing made felicity seem like some flake af gf not wife. Also, telling him to get out of his house when he's trying to talk to his son.
13
u/superbabe69 Apr 13 '18
Taking space was a hallucination. Remember she came down to the bunker to speak to him about it? She never actually did that.
Telling him to get out was logical.
5
u/Elendel Apr 13 '18
Yeah no, you lose your temper against your kid, you're benched. End of discussion. For once Felicity had a sane reaction.
9
u/Eagleassassin3 Apr 13 '18
You make it sound like he beat William up. He only raised his voice for like 2 seconds. Felicity was exaggerating so much, especially when she was a hallucination. But because we didn't know she was a hallucination, of course it threw people off.
5
u/PSN-Colinp42 Apr 14 '18
Agreed. He didn’t raise a hand to William at all. He is under IMMENSE stress and lost it for a second, and immediately realized what he had done and apologized. That’s, sorry, still a pretty damn good father. Luckily Felicity’s reaction was not real, cause that was insane.
4
u/waitforit666 Apr 13 '18
it wasnt losing his temper, he had told the kid to stfu a few times he was trying to have a discussion with felicity about something and the kid wouldnt stop talking over him...the destroying the plant was just them laying it on oliver thick though

The episode was good until Felicity had to show up at the end. It would've been cool seeing Oliver take down the cops.
1
u/Banjo-Oz Apr 15 '18
I didn't mind him getting talked down, I just really wish it had been Quentin in that scene instead of Felicity.
6
u/superbabe69 Apr 13 '18
He would have gotten killed if he tried to take on that many cops though tbf
1
u/Banjo-Oz Apr 15 '18
I know it's not the point of the scene, but Oliver could have thrown a flashbang or smoke grenade though the glass windows above those doors though. Heck, the tech they come up with, why not a knockout gas grenade?
2
Apr 13 '18
Yeah, Diaz had a line of people ready to shoot, and
he thought he had cameras recording the fight. That whole thing was a setup with several degrees of redundancy. As an aside, I'm really impressed by Dragon this ep. This whole 'master planning' vibe he has now is so different from what Chase was doing. He's like a general now.
4
u/Alen397 Apr 13 '18
I feel like gugie is just fucking us at this point about how bad this show has become.
39
u/R4F43L7456 Apr 13 '18
WHY IS FELICITY THE KEY TO SOLVE EVERYTHING, EVERYTIME?
6
Apr 13 '18
Mary sue, original character, she is worst than Alice. We are still the idiots that watch the show.
12
28
u/MemeMaster629 Apr 13 '18
I know everyone hates on Damian in season 4 but goddamn even he had more screen time and was more of a presence than dias
7
u/JBB1986 Apr 13 '18
That was sort of his problem, though. He had TOO MUCH screentime, but he wasn't DOING anything with it. As opposed to say, S1 Merlyn, who had just enough screentime to build him up into a villain AND show that he was a human being too. Diaz is like....well, he's not doing so well on either count. He hasn't gotten much screentime this season in comparison to other villains, AND he hasn't really been developed as much as any of them either.
Seriously, he really needs to carry on to S7, otherwise he'll just be a huge waste.
3
u/GoldenFlashofTheLeaf Apr 15 '18
I think Oliver should disable Diaz's plans. Then Diaz should kill Oliver in the season finale. Then Arrow S7 episode 1 would be him revived from the Lazarus Pit.

7

Like the rest of this season
It's a show about nothing
5
Apr 13 '18
Don't bring Seinfield into this man!
3
u/UnlimitedMeatwad Apr 13 '18
If it was written more like Seinfeld we'd get a better show.
The real question is who would play the Kramer role.
2
u/I_Am_Reliable Apr 13 '18
Diaz being a crime lord. Oliver going into battle alone by his own choice.

Wow that's a shocker. I thought they were going to hammer home Oliver needed a team but I'm pleasantly surprised at what they're hinting at.

Apr 13 '18
Why is Williams mental age so inconsistent? He went all "the bad man" right after the Chase arc. Then he's a wiz at math. Now he doesn't know how to read the word "impeachment"
28
u/UncreativeTeam Apr 13 '18
He also cloned a cabbage.
Like, what the actual fuck?
Or was that part of the hallucination too?

u/LordCaedus13 Apr 13 '18
We we're this close to having a good episode. THIS close.
WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OF HAVING CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT OLIVER JUST REVERTS TO HIS OLD SELF ALL THE TIME. ITS FUCKING BORING.
7
u/DeadlyLazer Apr 13 '18
No. This IS character development. He realized this he was spread out too thin. He didn't need a team, there was only the mission. And that's it. And he's going to do that now, this is great!
2
u/LordCaedus13 Apr 13 '18
No, it's the exact same internal conflict we've had every damn season. It's cheap, it's boring, it's played out, and it occupys so much screentime villains and supportinf characters get no development.
I'm not sure it the writers genuinely thought it was a good plot or are just pandering to people whining on the internet, but it's really just so frustrating to watch.
2
u/DeadlyLazer Apr 13 '18
Nah, no other season (except s1 obviously) had him go complete Punisher mode. No other season made him take a break from even Felicity. No other season had him not care about his job as mayor. This kind of plot has never been played. He's basically a one man crew and it's never been like since beginning of S1.
3
8
u/MegalomaniacHack Apr 13 '18
Now that Ollie's lost his job, and Felicity used her and Curtis's company's angel seed money to bail him out, they have no job and no income.

11

Honestly I'm not broken up about Oliver losing his job as mayor. He never did anything mayoral anyways.

Yes, but the impeachment proceedings were following the fact that Oliver fired the police chief and the DA

More evidence that Felicity kills everything. I mean, still a fantastic episode, the season's best and still one of the show's best, but cheaping out on the climax for a Fefe moment was pathetic.

Guys, do yourselves a solid and don’t read the comments on Stephen Amell’s live tweets. It’s pure cancer.
2
u/brooklyn11218 Apr 13 '18
I can't even figure out HOW to see the comments. I click the time the tweet was posted, it takes me to a thread of Amell's tweets. I click the number of replies it opens the text box so that I can reply.

Remember that time felicity, Oliver took on about triple that number of men in season 1 rescuing Walter Steele and he had like 6 times less experience and also wasn’t as well trained in combat. Yeah I think he could have took them on alone

u/TacticusThrowaway Apr 13 '18

Not all at once, and it was mostly just thugs, not cops waiting for him with guns drawn at point-blank range.

There bit in the bunker was. Would’ve been nice if the whole thing was. But at this point, the blue balls from no Diaz fight has eclipsed Felicity in my hate column.
2
u/crosby103 Apr 13 '18
I thought this was gonna one of my favorite episodes in a long time, and it's still been great, but they really just ruined it
4
u/Numbchicken Apr 13 '18
wow, I didnt know there was a new episode of season 4 of arrow tonight. Crazy how Felicity's "love and light" neutralizes the "darkness" of Oliver. Giggles was right, Oliver is becoming too much of a bitchass with a bow and arrow

Was anybody else sorta hoping Oliver would accidentally kill felicity under vertigo? It’d be a sick plot twist

It happened at the beginning of the episode, to set up the “10 hours earlier” text

Star City cops have a fatality rate like a Syrian militia. They're definitely not getting the best and brightest signing on.
10
u/TheCapsicle Apr 13 '18
Okay, I honestly really didn't think that scene was bad, but I am pissed that Felicity denied us our Oliver vs. Dragon fight.
