This episode could have been shorter and made the B team seem less completely unjustified if Ollie had just beat the shit out of Wild Dog for running his mouth about his kid.

Is Fefe Nate Diaz's boss?

3

u/JakeRedditYesterday Mar 06 '18

Don't do this Hoss.

u/DeadInsideX__X Mar 05 '18

What in fuck's name did I just watch? Fuck B team. Completely and absolutely fuck them. So you'll have into diggle's implant and risk worsening his nerve damage and show 0 remorse for it, beat up an unarmed Quentin, Renee will swing a FUCKING AXE AT OLIVER, but they get mad when Renee gets injured despite Oliver telling him to say down? Fuck b team.

I was really fucking hoping that Oliver would kick the shit out of all 3 single-handedly. Isn't he supposed to be the Batman of the arrowverse? And I know that they've probably gotten a lot better since then, but have we all forgotten "get past me and ring the bell"? God this is infuriating.

And what gives them the right to be mad in the first place? Renee broke Oliver's trust first, so why are the rest of them all pissy? This makes no goddamn sense anymore.

I'm with you 100 percent tbh I'm rewatching it rn and I've hated B team pretty much midseason like i get the being a little miffed about being spyed on, but Oliver was in the right especially after the Evelyn thing in S5, but in the end it was justified jus by the point 2 of them betrayed his trust Dinah was meeting a known criminal and murderer in secret after letting him get away, and Rene sold him out to the FBI. Then the next major thing was how much grief they gave Oliver over not saving Vincent like 1. It was a trap 2. Even if it wasn't you seriously expect Oliver to save a criminal who has tried to kill him multiple times over saving the entire city. And they're lucky because if it weren't for oliver and william they would of sacrificed the city jus because dinah loved a mass-murderer. Now the civil war episode was jus bad like all the posturing on b teams side was jus plain annoying like seriously you jus got ur asses handed to you while having Frost and Heatwave's help by Oliver's doppleganger who Oliver beat and you guys think you stand a chance like yea you're stoooopid. Then despite all there hate against Oliver and talk about how they're better than him they cross a line he never would have by purposely hurting someone who used to be their friend so they could commit cold blooded murder and I'm sorry Oliver the bad one, then like other people have said them blaming oliver for rene ending up in the hospital like I'm sorry how is it his fault 1. starting off Oliver tried avoiding a fight with them and he told all of them to stand down multiple times then they decide to engage in a fight and Oliver disables Rene and tells him to stand down yet again instead Rene decides to wildly start swinging an axe trying to take off Oliver's head, so Oliver puts him down like he would any other criminal and Rene reopens his old wound and yet it's Oliver's fault even though he tried to avoid conflict and even after he couldn't he still wasn't trying to hurt them he used disabling techniques designed to jus knock his opponent out while rene was trying to kill him. The other thing that jus straight up annoyed me was when Oliver got the sonic dampener collar around dinah he goes no more advantages and Dinah gets all tough and pissy and says I don't need advantages like I'm sorry were you not paying attention when you fought Oliver's doppleganger Dinah had her sonic cry and Curtis had his T-Spheres both of which they didn't have and you think you stand a chance. Also the nonstop jabs against TA and jus Oliver in general were immature, hypocritical, and annoying.

u/DeadInsideX__X Jul 10 '22

I'm glad you got that out of your system but my brother in Christ this is a 4 year old post

1

u/Complex-Lack-4703 Jul 11 '22

My bad lol I'm jus rewatching the show and I'm reminded of why I hated the show after basicly S4.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '18

Lolol I just watched this episode on Netflix and honestly want Oliver to put an arrow into all 3 of them šŸ˜‚ Curtis is such a cry baby, it’s infuriating you took that right out of my mouth.

3

u/richawesomness Mar 08 '18

I was so glad in the crossover when Fuhrer Oliver kicked the shit out of all of B team effortlessly.

2

u/anjolaolubusi Mar 05 '18

Would anything have changed if Team B did nothing?

4

u/DeadInsideX__X Mar 05 '18

It wouldn't have changed anything, hoss.

18

u/DtownBronx Mar 05 '18

The B team is so obnoxious. They need Barry to reset the timeline. How do you show up for a fight that you want to start and then end up mad when the most skilled fighter in the fight puts one of your guys down? Nothing about the B team makes any sense.

I'll keep watching because I'm a creature of habit but it's more of a hate watch at this point

11

u/MattyCass89 Mar 04 '18

Well, this is the last episode for me.

As someone who’s shot a bow and arrow since I was 6, ive always loved the arrow comics. When the show came out I was absolutely ecstatic. 18 years of shooting and reading arrow comics and the show I always wanted came on. And for a few seasons I was completely engaged. Then the Olicity shit started. Then it began to clear up a little bit and it got better. The worst storyline i have ever seen in any television show, is the bullshit civil war they have going on. It makes zero sense. The concept behind how it started made sense, until Rene was outed as HAVING aCTUALLY BEEN THE BETRAYER!!!! How the fuck Dinah and Curtis followed him is mind boggling. And now, the fact that Rene and Curtis know Dinah is insane and still won’t put her down and just go back and team up again is just stupid. The writing in the show has hit rock bottom this season. Sorry /Arrow, but I’m officially done.

1

u/deviLz0r Mar 04 '18

The only poor character is William. Still sloppy as hell.

13

u/natedog63 Mar 04 '18

Just watched this episode and I have no idea what they're planning to do with the new team. The episode tried to paint both teams as the good guys to pull off a minor "civil war" storyline and it really didn't work.

They tried "redeeming" Dinah by having Curtis talk her down from killing Laurel, so it doesn't seem like the newbies are being written off. They don't seem to want to bring the teams together either, because they cut ties with Diggle and Felicity even though Rene tried to straight-up murder Oliver and Curtis risked paralysing Diggle permanently without showing remorse. What's the endgame here?

4

u/Kuraya Mar 03 '18

Watching this show has become a chore that I do now. I remember feeling this way back in season 3 and 4, but then season 5 was so good it felt redeemed. I really hope the writers can either turn this show around or just end it. This episode made me hate team B after spending all of season 5 building them up. The conflict between the two teams didn’t feel earned or organic, it just felt forced. And Ollie and Diggle are pissing me off too. They just don’t learn...just f***ing talk to your old friends. But yeah, going in and accusing them in an angry way...that’s probably smarter /sarc. I still have hope, but jeez...

19

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '18

With this episode this show has reached a level of stupidity so much that even power rangers seem more mature than it.

30

u/ciera22 Mar 03 '18

Kill off Team B. Every single one of them. And take useless Hacker Girl along with them. She couldn't find a simple bug before it caused drama, not once but TWICE.

4

u/IndianaMatt Mar 07 '18

Not for nothing, but didn’t Diggle start out as Ollie’s security? Does the guy never sweep for listening devices?

4

u/Ambstudios Mar 03 '18

This guy gets it

3

u/JsadkinsAtWork Mar 02 '18

Wow, I feel like this sub has got so wrapped up in it's own bullshit that it doesn't actually watch the show anymore. That episode was fun, the conflict made sense - NTA was split on a moral call, Mr. Terrific finally starting to act like his own character and show a little of that comic book confidence and ability.

A weird drawn out story with a Laurel and Detective Lance.

6

u/skeeterfunny Mar 06 '18

This post doesn’t change anything Hoss.

15

u/ArkhamHero29 Mar 03 '18

the conflict made sense? the reasons for hating oliver and his team, that team B have, are completely ridiculous, a sign of poor writing and the greatest hacker in world couldn’t find a chip planted less than a meter next to her... smh

29

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '18

What's the endgame for the writers? They made somewhat likeable characters and completely destroyed that with the reason for Team B's conflict.

29

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '18

I know everyone In Team B isn't going to die, but I really hope all of them do. Piss poor writing.

-10

u/marmaa76kr Mar 02 '18

This episode really good but I disappointed cuz green arrow trying to protects the black siren from black canary cuz for the money But the show use lot technology to hack for nothing but they can’t trace the money back I really hate black siren

2

u/IndianaMatt Mar 07 '18

That doesn’t change anything, hoss.

51

u/CantheDandyMan Mar 02 '18

None of the B-Team members take personal responsibility for anything, do they? God do they sound like children blaming everything on OG team arrow.

8

u/sunnyseaxx Mar 03 '18

Thank youu, I have been saying this from the start

21

u/CantheDandyMan Mar 03 '18

It's just so overtop, especially in the last five or so episodes. They were all, you don't have the right to check on Renee, you're former teammate who you still care for even if you disagree on somethings because you hurt him" when a) Renee literally was trying to MURDER Ollie with an axe in addition to Oliver giving him the choice to stay down and b) they knowingly told Curtis to ping digs nerve chip that they knew would severely injure him. Olivier didn't try to reopen Renee's wounds, but they intentionally injured Diggle and don't seem remorseful or even sorry for doing so. Going from Felicity's reaction, it's very possible Curtis' actions could have made John's nerve damage exponentially worse and he knew that.

TLDR: Ah, sorry for the long winded reply, I just really wish an unbiased third party (like Ragman for example) would smack some sense into the b team and tell them how ridiculous their acting

5

u/sunnyseaxx Mar 03 '18

Don’t worry, I understand, I liked the response. I downloaded this app yesterday because I needed to read stuff like this. Nobody in my home watches arrow, so I wanted to know if people feel the same way I feel

15

u/J_D_Mazz Mar 02 '18

This was one of the worst episodes of Arrow ever.

16

u/ok-soup Mar 02 '18

So after reading these coments, i'm glad i stopped watched this shit.

Go and watch Black Lighting (i can't believe this is a CW show), but the drama there is about important/real issues, not some teenager bullshit.

8

u/J_r0en Mar 03 '18

I wanna bet it turns out like s4

So curtis hacks into john implant to find were he is causing potentially very high damage and risking permanent damage... But the thing they focus on is that oliver beat wilddog in a fair fight? How is this even a thing if u go looking for a fight and lose u cant then blame the person who injured you. Can the show runners just get rid of those 3 literally biggest hypocrites with no morals... "Waaaha oliver tracked us to find out if we betrayed him. Which we did, but lets forget that. Now lets get really mad at him and hate him and say he is a bad person over and over again while we do shit which is just as bad or worse!"

13

u/sunnyseaxx Mar 03 '18

This this this. I couldn’t have said it better! And may add, did everyone forget about Evelyn??? She was working for Adrian, if she was tracked, they would have find out sooner. So it makes sense if Team A was tracking Team B!

-10

u/TostiBuilder Mar 02 '18

am i the only one who thinks oliver is being a major cunt, and every single fucker turned into a hypocrite

12

u/Miss_Eliquis Mar 02 '18

I think all of them are acting so dumb. All 6 of them are assholes.

4

u/TostiBuilder Mar 02 '18

Right, its just a bunch of dicks acting like douches. None of them are being reasonable

0

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '18

11

u/pineappleshaverights Mar 03 '18

It wasn't magic. They explained that he reopened his wound from the first episode where he got shot because diggle had tremors

13

u/Hafas_ Mar 02 '18

Can there be a season episode without hacking?

15

u/ddscythe Mar 02 '18

I facepalmed when Felicity found the bug on Ollivers back with her iPad in like 2 seconds

I enjoyed seeing Rene get what was coming to him after being a complete hypocritical piece of shit. Be even happier if he was dead but written out is okay.

1

u/TostiBuilder Mar 02 '18

if you are referring to the not fighting dialogue ending in shoving oliver which is indeed hypocritical BUT he didn't do that to start the a fight he did it to place the tracker.

u/whoimpala73 Mar 02 '18

Roy's should come back for good. Haven't seen him in any other projects.

15

u/ddscythe Mar 02 '18

Although Rene is in the hospital, I want a scene where Roy beats Up Rene.

5

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '18

I just realized Roy is coming back and Thea is back in costume....I mean, Dragon sure torture blah blah blah but.....where do we go from here?

113

u/SuperWhoStitch Mar 02 '18

I am so sick and tired of that other team not taking responsibility for their actions. They just love using Oliver as a scapegoat for their terrible ideas. Dinah was the only one I liked and now I am done with her too. And Thea is another one. Girl, you can fight. Fucking do something other than stand there.

41

u/Brazilian_Slaughter Mar 02 '18

Thea has been out of practice, then in a coma for months. She probably ins't in much fighting shape.

15

u/305popper Mar 02 '18

They have a friend a few towns over who can fucking time travel, surely they can find $70 million somewhere!

3

u/ddscythe Mar 02 '18

Yeah just drop by Earth 4 Star City and collect a few $70 miilion. No biggie

24

u/LCPhotowerx Mar 02 '18

i know the answer is plot force but all this fighting rene's been doing and just NOW the wound reopens? really??? REALLY??

10

u/brooklyn11218 Mar 02 '18

I just create my own headcannon for this kind of stuff. In my head, because they were allies, Oliver knew just where to hit to cause the most damage and struck.

Laurel Lance is becoming someone else. She's becoming something else. She's becoming....... Laurel Lance...?

Good seeing Curtis show some backbone

4

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '18

Fuck that last scene. No matter how dumb the reasons are, I can sort of understand that they're frustrated with Oliver, but why shut out Felicity and Diggle for siding with Oliver?

21

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '18

that ending scene got my so mad. they need to stfu. they literally asked for a fight then complain when oliver absolutely obliterated them.

→ More replies (3)

8

u/305popper Mar 02 '18

I bet Curtis would kill for some back bone right now! See what I did there? Cause he’s always bitching about his love life.....I’ll show myself out!
