Wow, Team Guy vs TeAm GuY was by far one of the best fights of Shippuden. The choreography was absolutely spot on and the emotional messages it conveyed to the audience was absolutely extraordinary. Like when Neji hit Neji, that just shook my heart to its core. Truly a masterpiece.

Lmao. You’re totally right though. I just couldn’t believe that Neji would hit Neji, completely blew my expectations out of the park.

As a heads up we'll be skipping episode 28 next week as it's mostly filler and pretty much everyone wants to skip the Team Guy vs. Clones battle anyways.

Next week is the long awaited episode 26, I've done my part hyping it up. And I hope people enjoy what I have planned for it.

This week on the other hand is sponsored by Obi-Wan and his trip to Kamino^TM

Team Guy vs. Team Guy is the literal textbook definition of how not to do a fight. We constantly get the action interrupted by cuts to these guys dancing around with their clones.

Outside of this, Chiyo is a baller and well worth her weight. The difference between her puppetry and what we saw from Kankuro earlier is night and day.

We're also seeing why Naruto should not have been brought on this mission, jeopardizing everyone's safety by acting before thinking. On the plus side it gave the opportunity to have Sakura and Chiyo fight on their own which is something this series needed- two competent female kunoichi.

I'm sure people will! I know I'm looking forward to it.

Lmao. I should really get around to watching Star Wars one of these days...

Yeah, we all thought Kankuro was impressive (or at least I did lol) but it turns out he's barely scratched the surface. To be fair to him, he's still young and has time to grow as good as Sasori/Chiyo but for now he's merely an amateur compared to those masters.

  • The idea of a trap that creates doubles of yourself that you have to fight is kinda a unique idea for this series, though that's kinda the extent to which I can praise these fights.

  • Sakura and Chiyo vs Sasori- really good fight and kinda highlights this arc for me. For now what I'll say is that I like the use of certain variables within the fight, the usage of teamwork, utilizing the right abilities and tools at the right time, the usage of experience and knowledge to predict the foe's attacks along with trying to pick up their attack pattern(kinda reminiscent of a Zelda boss fight if you ask me). All of these factors are what are helping Sakura and Chiyo be able to fight Sasori this well because in terms of pure strength Sasori is in fact above these two. Also I really like the expansion of puppet mastery here, with taking a simple gimmick that stated in one character and elevating it above and beyond. One more thing, I really like the set-up and payoff of the third Kazekage, him disappearing starts out as something that seemingly is just an interesting bit of backstory for the sake of world building, but then here we not only find out what happens, it turns out to be a major threat.

  • Intersting thing, Chiyo accuses him of killing the Kazekage three times since he killed the third and helped kill Gaara, though the fourth I'm just confused on. Like says that since he was linked to Orochimaru he technically is linked to the incident, and to that I have to say; no, no he was not. Since Orochimaru was out of the akatski at that point so they were cut off. Were they referring to something that I am just missing here?

Yeah unfortunately lol.

I loved this as well. Didn’t expect the 3rd to be that intimidating.

Don’t recall this moment tbh. Might have to rewatch that moment and try to figure it out.

I wish he had grown enough during Jiraiya's training to not let his emotions get the best of him but I guess Naruto and emotions go hand in hand lol. Though in his defense, it really is despicable of them to not only kill Gaara but have Deidara sit on top of his corpse like he's furniture.

Idk if anyone else had been watching the dub, but have you noticed how the dub has been trying to add a bit of humor to the "next time on'? For some reason this set of episodes have been the funniest to me!
