Hooray! 12 million! I was going to make a comparison to a famous city, but well, New York is apparently only 8.5 million, and then Tokyo is 14 million. I tried a couple other places as well, but nothing seemed to work.

So three cheers to us being able to fill New York a little under 1.5 times!

Isn't this sub a default? That's like a skinny guy bragging that he has abs.

Hey, I wasn't bragging or anything, I was just glad that the place where people like Ken admiral started is so big now

Funny enough it is no longer a default and hasn't been for 7 or 8 months now. Also, I don't think the OP was bragging as they seem to be just a fan of the subreddit and are just happy that it hit a milestone.

This sub was made way before that.

Yup. So 7 months of consistent new user gain as not a default (aka no auto subscribers) is what, nothing? ;) My friend, we have very different views of doing well. :)

By the way, even when we were a default, users weren't auto-subscribed. Subscriptions only counted if they made changes to their subscriptions. Sure, it gave us an edge, but the users who made changes didn't remove us or they wouldn't have counted.

But that's all besides the point. It's like saying, "why do you celebrate your birthday? It's just a trip around the sun?"

Big subs get bigger, r/all sees to that Not to say this isn’t impressive

have never personally contributed any noteworthy contributions to this subreddit but have always found great entertainment from letting my imagination interpret how it would approach such creative prompts and even more so from reading the quality content many of you write :)
