Being gay is a choice. You are not born gay. God doesn't make mistakes.

But he made you...

And me too! That's, at minimum, TWO mistakes.

I've always believed Down Syndrome was a choice and now I finally have proof!

"Pfft just live your lives what's the big deal"

And then

"I hate these people who don't affect my life in any way"

This dude's a hypocrisy professional.

That's pretty par for the course. Lots of "I'm not transphobic but I totally hate trans people" are the same way.

  • Being gay is a choice, which means we get to judge people on it.

  • Look, I just choose to believe that, and you dont get to judge me for that choice. You shouldnt attack someone just because they think something different.

Flawless logic...

Actually I do have say. It's called parenting. I'm not my kids friend I am their father. I discipline them and praise them. They aren't gay.

That's why no conservative has ever had a gay kid

It's not like half of the gay kids I've met go to schools in environments where that isn't tolerated in the slightest.

And why there's no gays in Russia so there can't be concentration camps.

Honestly, this guys right. We didn't have a problem with it back in the day when people like Freddie Mercury were around (and I fuckin love that dude), but now you are so god damn hellbent on cramming it down our throats that it makes us hate you with a passion. The same shit with black rights and Islam too.

"Look, you can be gay, black, Muslim or whatever other wrong thing you choose to be. Just don't ask for basic rights and equal opportunities. It makes me hate you. I mean, I already hate you but when ya'll get all uppity and start complaining, it makes me hate you more. Know your role. Act like it's the 50s again. I don't care, just stop making it hard for me ignore your rights. PS - Don't call me homophobic because I like Freddie Mercury and he was a big ol' gay."

Ah, the famously subtle and reserved Freddie Mercury.

I wasn't around in the 70's/80's but I'm pretty sure people DID have a problem with it, huge problems between the gay bashing the AID's crisis and the Regan administration

I've been reading about Ellen's coming out on her sitcom and the subsequent shitstorm...we've come a long way but there's still people who are "fine with" gays as long as they are never reminded of them actually existing (also ellens sitcom is surprisingly good)

It's like a verbal version of "stop hitting yourself".

Look, now you can be gay but you just have to be ashamed about it your whole life and try to mask it with unhealthy and false feelings of hyper-masculinity. It's that simple.

This was the stupidest argument I heard him make. People are marginalized, they should just accept it and move on. Fuck that guy.

78

u/MegasusPegasus Apr 30 '17

The same people who are always trying to convince me that being lgbt doesn't effect my life in any meaningful way and that discrimination isn't real are also the same people who turn around and say this shit.

u/MegasusPegasus Apr 30 '17

I thought I was done, but I'm too mad.

You don't have any right telling us how to live. You don't have any right telling us how to think. And you definitely don't have any right telling us how to raise our children. You're all the same. And by that, I mean that you're all self righteous pieces of shit who spew hatred.

I could say that I hope you get cancer, suffer horribly, and then die horribly. But really, people generally don't treat your views like that. They give you the false illusion that they're worthy of discussion by trying to argue with you in a mannered way.

But here's the thing; you, in your pathetic little 'woe as me, I'm such a martyr because I might have to be uncomfortable for a second" lamentation prove exactly why you're not worth it. Even a modicum of kindness is wasted on you, because you find just the mere suggestion your kids might be gay, or that you be more accepting, so heinous and ridiculous that your prove it's worthless to try and reason with you. Why entertain discussion in the place of ridicule when you will act so put upon for being forced to even entertain the thought of being a good person? Ridicule should be used for pigs like you because you still squeal when it isn't.

He's literally saying that people don't have the right to tell him how to think/live/raise children WHILE AT THE SAME is telling people others how to think/live/raise children.

What a complete idiot.

He's a fucking buffoon.

This is a bizarre response when someone asks that person what would they do if one of their kids were gay:

I just told you they aren't gay. There is no what if.

If I were one of this person's kids, I sure as hell wouldn't tell him if I were gay. And some people don't come to terms with being gay until later in life.

21

u/sekoku Apr 30 '17

They can be accepted. Just not by me. I'm not going to hate them or say bad things or condemn them but I'm also not gonna hang out. I don't agree with the lifestyle.

But that's hating, you fucking homophobe.

u/CaseyAndWhatNot Apr 30 '17

Anytime someone says "Show me X." Then follows up with "Here's a hint" I know that what they are about to say is Fucking idiotic.

u/TheLadyEve Apr 30 '17

Actually I do have say. It's called parenting. I'm not my kids friend I am their father. I discipline them and praise them. They aren't gay.

I almost wish that at least one of his kids turn out to be gay in order to teach him some humanity, but I wouldn't want to wish that kind of stress on anyone--it can't be easy to be his kid, let alone his gay kid.

15

u/[deleted] Apr 30 '17

Yeah, like his kid would tell him. They'd just move out at 18 and never speak to hin again except Christmas.

Wow, very nice trolling work. 9.3/10 one of the best I've seen in quite some time. Excellent staying in character. This is how you rustle serious jimmies, folks.
