[S05E10] Who Are You? Live Episode Discussion
Worried that Prometheus is right and he is truly a killer at heart, Oliver (Stephen Amell) looks for any ray of hope and finds it in what seems to be the miraculous return of Laurel Lance (guest star Katie Cassidy).
However, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), still reeling from Detective Malone’s murder, is bent on revenge – she wants to stop Prometheus at any cost. While in prison, Diggle (David Ramsey) fights for his life.
Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Brian Ford Sullivan.

Its just not her place to make that call and this is all about a personal vendetta, which is causing her to have blinders, what she is accusing Oliver of having.
But yes, to get to Prometheus, this was a good call.

This exactly. It's a smart move but she's taking two instances into her own hands when she's supposed to press buttons on a computer. It's obvious the jealousy is creating those blinders that she's accusing Oliver of having.

It may not be her place, but she has been on the team for a while now. Whether we like it or not, she IS a big part of the team. I'd much rather have a decent story arc with her than the garbage from last season.

She HAS been on the team for a long while....but she still has no combat skills, no understanding of how others combat skills should be applied in a violent situation, and no understanding of basic strategy. Along with lacking leadership skills, or the ability to plan long-term.
As was evidenced by her pathetic attempt to undermine Ollie when he went to break out Diggle earlier in the season. It failed miserably, and she shouldn't have tried a stunt like that again.
She's letting her emotions dictate her actions (exactly what she's accusing Ollie of doing), and making massive errors, even if she had a point to begin with.

Considering she has no hand-to-hand skill - or any fighting skill for that matter - she shouldn't be making these exact executive decisions where it could result in her getting killed. This is all neglecting to mention that she is apart of Team Arrow... but she's not the Green Arrow. So she should probably learn to stand down.

She's NOT, though. She HAD a point, but she's not ON point. She's mostly screwing up, and justifying it by saying "But the basic idea behind my actions was reasonable!". Sure. But her plans were NOT, and they show why she should never be making the executive decisions.
