Looks like someone has been watching a bit too much Louis CK standup recently.

More generally I'll never understand why some people think heaping scorn on others is going to accomplish anything. I wouldn't presume to talk for everyone but for me tough talk is only going sway me if it comes from someone who I hold a great deal of respect for. If someone I hold in high regard is talking that way to me I know something is going really wrong on my end that they feel they have to resort to talking to me that way.

InternetAsshole1458 on the other hand, doesn't have enough influence to make me believe they're doing anything other than looking for an excuse to be shitty to others. They're going to get tuned out real fast as just another mouthy know-nothing.

In another post he mentioned it's a throwaway account, so the tuning out isn't even a factor.

Kinda makes me wonder what reddit admins would say about that, just as a curiosity. It's kind of the reverse of using an alt to get around a ban, or at least a different sequence.

There's a few times to bring out the righteous anger, but this isn't one of those times.

When someone is say, talking about how the Nazis were okay, scorn is pretty warranted.

Addiction is a disease, shame that's not taught in school. They don't see themselves as jerks, they're telling their truth. It's just their truth isn't.

There's nothing I could say here that would not be overt grandstanding.
