Wow, I'm really surprised no one posted this comic anywhere in that drama.

Yep. It's almost like large systems are prohibitively difficult to not participate in.

Sure for owning a car or being a member of society, but owning an iphone?
If I didn't like Coca Cola I'd buy Pepsi, if I don't like Lay's I'd buy Wise. There are analogs to iPhones, so calling someone our for hypocrisy for using one is different than owning a car or being a person (still not sure about the society thing?)

That feel when someone thinks classism is a new concept.

That feel when someone thinks classism is a new concept.
It's a feel called "Teenagers on Reddit."

That is the point. "Normal" life is possible because of cheap energy. Energy is cheap because of such pipelines.
You do in order to function normally.
That's because you're unwilling to make minor adjustments to your lifestyle to stop this crisis.
We can make cars more environmentally friendly, which is a huge step in the right direction.
But they'll still be spewing GHGs. Try again.
This comment almost made me think OP was a rabidly uncompromising environmentalist, but it quickly became apparent that they were in favor of the pipeline, and just wanted to mock anyone who did anything for the environment.

Like the people that say "oh u got a problem with the police? Oh i bet you call them when an axe murderer is chasing you though! Lul hypogrif!"
Simple things for simple minds.

With all the talk of hypocrisy no one mentioned that the poster is attached to about 6 sheets of particle board.

ok but pipelines are pretty clean as far as moving oil goes, much better than the truck they'd use otherwise

I'm not opposed to a pipeline existing, just not over drinking water.
I'd rather they use the truck in that case. Raise the cost of gas if it's that expensive. I'm used to $4/gal this shit is fine.

I'm not going to reignite the fight by commenting on it here but I found this comment really funny
