Policies. Polices. Polices.

Of all the kernels in this batch, I kinda like how the 'i' just went and disappeared here the most.

My dude Trump doesn't believe in climate change and wants to get rid of the EPA, I kind of feel like that's all that needs to be said

Also he literally sexually assaults people and brags about it.

It was sarcasm.

Trump: I grab women by the pussy.

Nine Women: It's true, he grabbed us by the pussy.

Trump: I was just being sarcastic!

It's kinda hard to call it sarcasm when he did actually grope women.

It clearly wasn't.

The Clinton foundation is a huge money laundering and pay to play corruption scheme.

The people who say this yet don't apply the same logic to the Trump foundation that donated to people like Pam Bondi is...mind boggling.

They also ignore that it's rated extremely highly by most watchdogs and actually uses the money it's given for, you know, charity

She changes her story just to get elected.

Oh, just like every politician ever?

The irony is, they're a Trump supporter. The guy sometimes changes his story mid-sentence.

I mean, Trump is the guy who consistently, including during live Presidential debates, denies things that he said, on camera, multiple times. His go-to response to being called out on a stupid / abhorrent comment is to claim it's lies.

I'm an ethical vegan. Can you fill me in on why trump is bad for animals?

Isn't the taxidermied roadkill trophy he wears on his head warning enough?

15

u/Schrau Oct 17 '16

Trump Steaks as well.

u/whatim Oct 18 '16

Aren't his older sons big-game trophy hunters?

Also, the dude seems to live on fast-food hamburgers and well-done steaks, if Howie Carr is to be believed.

Present examples or do not bother commenting at all.

http://np.reddit.com/r/vegan/comments/4y8dq1/lets_take_gary_yourofskys_speech_to_the_frontpage/d6mobmo Remember that time you called someone a "retarded immoral parent"?

I'm not sure what kind of response I was expecting, but that dude/dudette delivered.

So what is an unethical vegan? Do they cheat on their taxes or something?

40

u/RutherfordBHayes Oct 17 '16

I would guess it's someone who's vegan for health reasons or something, not because they actually care about animal treatment.

Since it's about Trump, maybe there's some white nationalist out there who eats tofu so that he can get in shape for border-guard vigilante duty.

I practically laughed out loud in the middle of the office.

I think the difference is just that they are vegans for nonethical reasons.

Like they just don't like animal products, or health concerns, or that's just how they were raised, or they want to impress that cute girl who sits next to them in Chem 101, or they want to piss off their parents who are pig farmers.

Etc

Ethical vegans are vegan because of ethical concerns, wanting to minimize harm and so forth. Unethical is a stupid way to phrase it, but a non-ethics approach to veganism would involve health concerns, culture, religion, personal taste, or other reasons. For a while there I was what I like to call "poverty vegan," where even butter was a crazy extravagance that I just couldn't swing. That was not a veganism based on ethics, for example.

Well, vegan neo-nazis do actually exist, so I guess that qualifies.

u/freegan4lyfe Oct 17 '16

Gary flavored popcorn?

it's all about the nooch, yo!

u/RealRealGood Oct 18 '16

There are former Berniebros who are voting for Trump now. People vote against their interests all the time. Vegan Trump supporter isn't so outlandish in that context.

1

u/ParamoreFanClub Oct 18 '16

only way a vegan could supportmtrump is if they are vegan for health reasons and if they are also severely misinformed

1

u/MeatPiston Oct 18 '16

That's a troll I'd wish I'd thought of first.

It's so simple, so classic, so obvious.
