Women don't need to squeeze to masturbate. This is a conditioning issue.
This is some god damned valuable discussion right here.

Imagining how hard someone would have to grip to get big gainz terrifies me.
Do you want a penis covered with scar tissue? Because that's how you get a penis with scar tissue.

wasn't dataisbeautiful interesting and not full of fighting at some point in time?

Hahaha! I had to go out for a bit and was hoping this would make it on here before I got back!
Yep, your examples pretty much sum up all of the threads within that post.
What I really want to know is...was the post gilded because "Great job at compiling objective data" or because "Yah, finally proof so shut your faces you dumbass feminists"?

Feminists are called to join the discussion
But I can't, that's against SRD rules!

I would think that the size of your hand would be a big factor in grip strength. I'd love to see what it would looked like controlled for hand size.
My hands are tiny and I can never open any jar ever.

I am also tiny-handed, and grip strength training helps a huuuuuuge amount. I started circus arts and since my sweaty little paws are the things that keep me from falling to my death, I was forced to get stronger. Jars are no longer a match for my crushing grip.

Nice find OP.
Interesting with that graph. I'd call the title of it measuring strength as misleading, as most people wouldn't call grip strength the single way of determining strength. Not to mention that it looks like the average 60-70 year old man is "just as strong" as the average 18-20 year old man, which I don't think you'd find many people would agree with.
Also it gets mentioned in there that women can't do certain jobs as well as men because they aren't as physically strong - construction....well literally all their examples are about some kind of construction. As someone who actually has done construction and mason work in the past (hated it), strength is not that important. I'm a skinny weakling and I can build something just as good as someone else, because we have these amazing things called "tools", and "machines". Honestly, I would say endurance/stamina is far, far more important. And even that's only if you aren't doing something like running a skidsteer or some kind of equipment like that.

All the feminists are going to point out the outliers (athletic women who weight lift), shown here as a green circle drowning in a sea of blue. I don't understand why its so hard to admit that the average man is physically stronger than the average woman. Its not like we need our physical strength in day to day life anymore.
10/10 strawman
Such facts, however true, are damaging to female empowerment and self-image. Are you going to tell a six-year-old girl that she can't be a firefighter, heavy weight boxer, or dock laborer? Are you going to tell her that she will lose fights with boys? Are you going to tell her that she can't carry as much weight as the boys? Facts, however true, but which are leveraged for the disempowerment and humiliation of marginalized groups are "hate facts." As such, this post constitutes hate speech for inviting the reader to view women as "lesser than" men. I demand an apology from OP and for this thread to be locked. /s
Another strawman, nice.
inb4 some crazy SJWs start complaining about how unfair and sexist this is.
and another one
Feminists: "This data is sexist and shows how oppressed women are by the white male patriarchy."
Getting DJ Khaled flashbacks now
I'm a feminist and "men are stronger" is one of my hugest arguments or points I make when people ask questions like: "Oh! Why do you get angry or nervous when someone cat calls you/hits on you/sends you creepy messages? I'd be flattered!" When literally half the population could caveman drag you by the hair just because they liked your lips or whatever, yeah you'll get agitated and nervous when you get advances thrown at you even if they are written or verbal.
Being scared by something doesn't automatically make that thing wrong in some way. If someone flirts with me it doesn't put them in the wrong if I take it the wrong way. There are still things that are appropriate and some things that are inappropriate but let's not act like a woman making inappropriate sexual advances is any more in the right than a man who makes inappropriate sexual advances.
what??
my girlfriend is sitting here saying, "that's just for grip strength." they just can't accept that there is sexual dimorphism
They? You mean your girlfriend.
and she's a feminist... therefore it's an issue for feminists
what?!?
Lol and I'm not even halfway through yet..
Great find OP

I don't understand why its so hard to admit that the average man is physically stronger than the average woman.
i love how they all totally support and believe this, but have no problem at all with shit like "equal rights equal lefts".

So its a bunch of people making up scenarios about how "feminists" would totally respond.

u/dyeus_wow Jul 31 '16
My favorite part of this is either people misreading the post and assuming it's a measurement of overall physical strength, or that there's some magical correlation between grip strength and total physical strength.

u/GrassWaterDirtHorse Jul 31 '16
Is it really that hard to squeeze in a masturbation joke without having people shout about sexual dimorphism and other anti-feminist rhetoric?

That you suck. What do you want from me? I'm simply pointing out the obvious. I did a quick Google search on, feminism men are stronger, and got millions of results saying that men and women are the same. So, yeah...
So you're just going to lie then?
I did the same Google search, and even the first page had multiple feminist pages that generally agreed that men were stronger than women on average.
To then say that the other "millions of results" agreed with your position is asinine and spurious, unless you want me to believe you gave more than a couple pages a fair read-over to actually support your own point.
Translation:
Person 1: WAAAAH, I WANNA PISSING MATCH AND YOU WON'T LET ME HAVE IT!
Person 2: Pretty much.

You couldn't figure out a way to work a pun in about people "losing grip" in your title? Disappointed
