Poppy Approved Slipknot's frontman slaps a phone out of a fan's hand during a concert. Users slap each other.

Does your mommy worry if you don't check in at least once an hour?
Sometimes, yeah. Can't fault a mother for worrying about her children bro
Well, that was a quick winner.

Isn't this just like a standard thing for mothers, no matter how old you are? I'm 27 and my sister is 24 and if my sister or I are going to be on the road for more than an hour, and my mother knows about it, she'll insist we call her whenever we arrive at our destination (And again when we get home), and will be worried until she hears from us.

My dad does it, but he's anti social, so he will have me check that my brother or sister made it somewhere okay.

I don't think I've ever read anything about Corey Taylor and come away thinking anything other than "wow, that guys a douche"

I love Corey Taylor's voice (see his fucking amazing work on This is Your Life) but he does come across as kind of an asshole.

I mean, at least Slipknot usually puts up some great performances, Corey Taylor as well. He does seem like kind of a douche though.

I love how it simply shows he doesn't remember what it was like starting out. When you're a young band you get used to playing to nobody or playing for people who aren't paying attention. He has no class or respect for the trade he's in.
Aside from that, if I paid to view your thing I'm going to view it how I want. It's loud, people are standing up. My phone being out would bother nobody, and for all he knows I'm texting somebody that matters how awesome it is or something.

It's 2016, Slipknot should just be happy somebody showed up to their concert.

happy somebody showed up to their concert.
I saw a lot of the smugness on r/music when this topic hit and a lot of the people said the same thing even though it was completely devoid of reality. I may not be the biggest slipknot fan but they still sell out arenas and festivals. They are still a big draw. Just because a lot of the younger kids are now swinging from Kayne doesn't mean Slipknot isn't still around pumping out music and selling tickets. Not to mention Corey's side band Stone Sour is popular as well. I think their first album is some of the best work he has ever done, still to this day I enjoy the hell out of cranking it up.

They're still wildly popular, and their music isn't bad either.

I like how the only guy who should be pissed, laughed and had a point moment.

What a fucking idiot
If I actively do something it's more important to me than you.
What if it's someone I know that needs to talk to me??

The ever popular argument: "if this thing was a different thing, you'd act differently"
