Enjoy!
Goddamnit...why did I click any of those links.
I'm not smart enough to know if this is irony, but the people who act as if #blacklivesmatter and "SJWs" are extremist groups that have sprouted out from nothingness and are without a legitimate cause are acting as if racism ended in the early 90s or something. They're spouting the same crap that the "real racists," the ones who dismissed civil rights activists as "uppity" or troublemakers, did.
The more things change the more they stay the same. Maybe it feels like we went back 50 years, because RACISM IS STILL A THING. But, the commentator that responded with statistics showing the disparity in wealth among racial lines is downvoted and the commentators decrying the extremism of the "PC-crowd" and "SJWs" are highly upvoted. I can't be racist, racists are bad people. I am a perfect judge of character regardless of the color of people's skin and I resent your implication that I'm anything but a paragon of virtue in this regards. Now excuse me while I cross the street, there's a thug walking down the road. That's not racist, it's just statistics, facts can't be racist.

If they made an irish, german, british etc student union no one would give 2 fucks.

That kinda gets at the heart of it. Black groups are a thing because the predominant culture of this country puts all black people, regardless of their ethnicity, background, or anything else into a single group: black. Even if they have nothing in common with each other otherwise, they are still joined by that grouping. White people, on the other hand, don't have that, so we have nothing unifying British/German/French/etc except for being not black. So when we get together for an Irish Heritage group or something it's easy to see why such a group with a common tie would form. Why would a "white heritage" group form outside of excluding black people? That's literally the only thing all white people share in common that they don't also share in common with black people.
If you made a white student union out of expat students in Japan or Nigeria or something that would be different.

And yes going into a library disrupting study and class time, while screaming inches from a persons face is a form of Terrorism
This person's parents might want to request a refund from the college.

(A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State
Really, he even provides us the definition and then completely ignores the first six words.
Also, wasn't the situation at Dartmouth completely blown out of proportion? The "pinning students to the wall and yelling at them" claim was unsubstantiated and so far no one has been able to confirm it actually happened unless I missed something.

There was a conservative website that wrote a really over the top story about protesters spitting and screaming and pushing people and then they linked a video--which didn't show anyone spitting or screaming or pushing people. They were loud in a library, but I'm pretty sure that's not covered in the Geneva Conventions or anything.

Well, you can protest. It just has to be quiet and not bother anyone or make any kind of impression. Also, it needs to be in favor of something reddit supports or against something reddit hates.

They made another Facebook group this one's different because they added an extra I in Illini.
Edit: in other news, they aren't the sharpest tool in the shed

Colleges/Universities becoming less of a place of higher education and more of an adult daycare. I blame racial quotas, just let the smartest people attend.
Sweet jesus.

I just love the implication that every minority student is at university is due to quotas/affirmative action.

Imagine their outrage when it turns out the smartest people aren't all white.

The r/news thread is making me really depressed. Im going to stop commenting in it because the responses I get are toxic and come within less than 5 minutes of all my rebuttals. There's like 5 users in that thread replying to freaking anything that sympathies with BLM with a wall of text. I use Reddit to fuck around at work between assignments not spend the whole day pissed off.

WatcherOfTheWatchers is kind of awesome in a horrifyingly hilarious way. Maybe its frankie's alternate account. Everything he posts is amazing, it's like he came from the 1950s with his grade 5 education ready to wreck some commies (SJWs).

Of course - a White Students' Union is created explicitly to intimidate black students on campus and the entire Reddit discussion is about how racist "the blacks" are.

If blacks can be proud based on their culture and the color of their skins, so can white people.
Ah, the old "blacks:white people."

Local sub drama is always great. People are way more invested in what goes on so things get really heated.
