JFK assassination conspiracy film posted to r/Documentaries. Honestly, this argument is to be expected.

Yeah, fuck college - watching youtube documentaries is definitely the same as an actual education.

You won't convince anyone here to not enjoy intaking information, that's what a documentary is.

Funny that some people only want to "intake information" that is debunked conspiracy bullshit.

History is damn near subjective at some points and it never hurts to consider other perspectives, and take in other sources.

I'd bet $1000 that this guy has never even heard the word historiography

Look, everyone knows that history was written by Victor. Sorry that you don't agree with my opinion, man.

Maybe you should check out this youtube video and educate yourself.

$20 says his version of history being subjective includes Hitler not being a bad guy

Conspiracy theorists are so funny sometimes. They will call you a shill or a sheep and accuse you of believing whatever you saw on CNN.

Then they will go off to their websites with black backgrounds, red text and the word TRUTH emblazoned across the header in bold cracked-design fonts...and they will believe every last word on the website without taking even ten seconds to try and verify it.

And if you try to show them something that debunks it? Oh, well that's part of the conspiracy and you're a shill of a sheep who is asleep with his head in the sand for believing it.

It's amazing how someone can be so convinced that they are a reasonable skeptic while employing pretty much every mechanism of thinking that rational skepticism avoids.

The funny thing is that while the conspiracy theorists make it obvious - that sort of thinking permeates a lot of Reddit.

Does this unverified source contradict a mainstream story in a way that appeals to me - well it must obviously be the truth. Did this OP just say something that feels wrong? Well this highly upvoted comment must be the real truth and the post is disinfo/shilling.

Hey man, don't you know that the internet is the greatest tool for education in human history? People on here would NOT lie or post information that WASN'T true, unless they are government SHILLS.

Obviously, JFK wasn't killed by the CIA. He was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald. With magic bullet. Yep, magic is real. Government has known about it for years.

JK Rowling was the Edward Snowden of her time.

Edward Snowden is Edward Scissorhands.

So your saying the US equivalent of the Ministry of magic had a play in this?

OR he was become a Freischütz

OR BOTH

...Fuck it I want to read THAT book.

r/conspiracy leaks into r/documentaries on a daily basis nowadays.

u/tawtaw Oct 16 '15

Even ignoring user & content overlap, they've brigaded r/documentaries multiple times by now. I remember when a histrionic "End the Fed" video got a +500 comment thread because of them.

r/conspiracy is probably the exemplar sub for pointing out that admins have zero real interest in policing brigading.

I find it funny that the recent viral article about McCone withholding info from the Warren Commission implicates no one other than Oswald...and yet r/conspiracy and sites like Before It's News decided it did anyway.
