Is the A380 the "ugliest fucking slugbus ever"? Drama takes off in r/aviation

A380 isn't pretty, but it's so damn huge it's impressive merely by its size.

I was bored at work one day, looking at info on private planes. If you're one of the few uber-wealthy people who can afford a personal A380... there's about 5500 sq.ft. of floor space inside one. It might not be pretty, but you can live in it with all of your servants.

It was a cool summer morning in Amsterdam. I had arrived from Vienna on my way home to Seattle. I stepped off the plane, slowly walking down the stairs to the bus. Something big caught my eye. Lo and behold, an A380 was coming in for landing. All I could think in that moment was 'What the $!@# is that!?' Ugliest plane I've laid my eyes on.
I was sitting in my office when the latest dame walked in. Fuselage that wouldn't quit, wings like ripe tomatoes. She didn't maneuver so well in the air, but baby, I could tell by smile on her pilot's face that she knew how to move everywhere else. Every instinct was telling me to avoid the case; to run to another city, set up somewhere where this broad couldn't track me down. But I accepted it anyway. Y'know why, square? Because a plane like that only settles her tail fins on a retired cop's desk once in a lifetime.

You can tell that the average age is a bit higher on that sub, probably about 30 considering all the ramp maintenance guys, retired pilots, and longtime hobbyists hanging around. Instead of downvoting the guy's original post into oblivion everyone has a laugh over the terminology or just focuses on the conversation. They only downvote him further down where he's just being an ass.
The r/aviation peeps are the kind of Redditors you can knock back some beers with and lose track of the time. Great sub.
