Tyler, the Creator commercial is posted to /r/nottimanderic, someone objects to his use of the word "faggot". OP objects to their objection of the use of the word "faggot".

You don't really say "Stop being such a nigger" because there's no other definition to the word. But "Stop being such a faggot" pretty much means "Stop being such an annoying cunt".

I really hope that at some point Louis C.K. does an AMA, and someone can link all of the stupid comments like this, just so we can get his opinion.

He's discussed it in interviews and stuff, though I can't find any quotes about people using his standup routine to defend using slurs. Closest I got is this:

Like his character on the show, the actual Louis used the word "faggot" a great deal in his act, although Louis says he never intended it as an anti-gay slur. Over time, however, he started to wonder "What does it do to a gay man when I say the word ‘faggot’?"

That prompted Louis to ask Crom and their conversation was the basis for the poker table discussion viewers saw in the episode. "I kept [what he told me] inside," says Louie. "And what I learned from it. … It didn’t tell me not to use that word or any other word, but it did tell me take responsibility for the words you use, to know their impact."

Ya, I saw the poker episode where they brought it up on Louis, I'm just wondering if he knows the extent people on the internet use his stand up bit (and that South Park episode) to justify calling anyone they don't like a fag.

Or Trey and Matt about their South Park episode.

Because (at least in America) faggot is a homophobic slur and anyone who says otherwise is wrong. I don't even understand why this is still a debate.

Woops, vague title. To clarify, they're objecting to Tyler's use of the word "faggot".
