So yeah, the guy just edited the quote out of his post, in case you were curious where it is. Still caught by the snapshot bots.

This is so depressing

5 stages of grief.

9

u/Jaggedmallard26 May 24 '14

Theres even one about how they wish they could be tortured until they were brainwashed to be normal. These people must live miserable lives and they may even suffer from depression. They really need help.

56

u/TheLadyEve May 24 '14

Everybody was laughing at him and shaming him for being a virgin. They expected him to just shut up and take it.

Um, he knows this how? Or could he be projecting a bit?

11

u/MikoMido May 25 '14

This is by far not the first time an involuntarily celibate guy goes onto a shooting spree.

Oh my God, you guys.

126

u/HoldingTheFire May 24 '14

I can't do it today. Another mass shooting by a young man because he wasn't getting the sex that all women owed him. And people on reddit justifying what happened as a natural response to society not giving them a sex slave.

How many more of these need to happen before people realize how toxic and dangerous this kind of talk is? I know reddit hates the idea of "thought crimes" or whatever, but threats by people who make videos like this guy did, or people like the incel guy need to be taken seriously and stopped.

54

u/[deleted] May 24 '14

And people on reddit justifying what happened as a natural response to society not giving them a sex slave.

Eh? One person, everyone else in the thread pretty much says he was a fucking psychopath.

May I direct you to r/theredpill where everyone thinks society owes them a sex slave

49

u/[deleted] May 24 '14

Well that was horrible.

14

u/Drando_HS May 24 '14

Oh god, I need to cleanse myself. Off to r/aww I go.

25

u/[deleted] May 24 '14

I wonder how redpill would react to a sub that listens to redpill ideas but flips the genders. Men get worse with age, men try to stick their dicks in as many pussies as possible while they're young, men have the mental age of teenagers...

49

u/compounding May 24 '14

They are extremely aware of their own inconsistent standards for genders.

Their response is bullshit bro-science evo-psyche where they project their own twisted male/female stereotypes onto human ancestors to "explain" why men "gain value" with more sexual partners while women want to "find and trap" a good provider (beta) while secretly having sex with the biggest strongest guy in the tribe... Its not like they are self aware enough to realize that anyone can make up a plausible story to justify their own biases... which is why a lot of them dabble in "white nationalism" and other thinly veiled hate justification.

u/IndieLady May 25 '14

Someone in blue pill reversed the genders of a red pill post and it's hilarious:

Red Pill: Older women will NEVER be able to compete with younger girls on youthful looks

Blue Pill parody: "Older men will NEVER be able to younger boys on youth and beauty."

3

u/lurker093287h May 25 '14

iirc there has been some drama between 'manosphere' bloggers and 'radfem' ones in the past, I think that is as good as you're going to get.

14

u/[deleted] May 24 '14

What the fuck is a redpill's hamster?

41

u/oncemoreforluck May 24 '14

Ah yes they refer to women trying to think as hamsters running on a wheel. Cause women are too stupid to think and just go round and round never making progress and need a man to tell them what to do.

15

u/kwangqengelele May 24 '14

You see, plates hamster when alphas go into beast mode and gaslight their sets.

14

u/HoldingTheFire May 24 '14

You must not have been around reddit much. This kind of sentiment is not uncommon. Even if the person was downvoted doesn't mean that this attitude doesn't exist. If the police can be called in because someone makes a "joke" on twitter about attacking an airport then the police should investigate these threats.

9

u/[deleted] May 24 '14

I've been around for a couple of years now and I don't see this sentiment being expressed much, sure there's the occasional guy who says shit like this but they usually get downvoted.

0

u/erichiro May 25 '14

the police did interview the mass-murderer after his parents got worried. The police assessed him as not a risk and didn't give it another thought

21

u/Axeman20 May 24 '14

Agreed, I'm in my mid 20s, am a kissless virgin and you don't see me try and kill people.

I just play games and shoot imaginary people instead.

12

u/Drando_HS May 24 '14

You just shoot?

Pleb!

I decapitate.

I rip their skulls and beat them to death with them!

Oh, and worst of all...

I eat a white dot. Then, I eat ALL. THE. GHOSTS!

4

u/facepoppies May 24 '14

I don't think he shot people because he wasn't getting sex. I think he shot people because he's a psychopath.

-9

u/StormyOuterland May 25 '14

Men are dangerous. No if and's or buts. Some men are trained not to act upon these impulses, but if given enough slack on the chain, they can and will act upon them. Men are, scientifically speaking, a mutation of the female. A deformity. A violent, raging freak of nature.

7

u/[deleted] May 25 '14

No. No, they really aren't. Not at all. Nope.

I guess if I were to try to distill my reaction to your comment into one word, that word would be "no".

Jarred Lee Loughner, the kid in Arizona who shot Congress woman Gabrielle Giffords was the same way. He had a number of videos up on youtube where he'd walk around the campus of ASU (or was it UofA?) looking at signs on doors and trying to explain why the words on the various doors were all part of some sort of sinister plot. His own reasoning of course wound up mostly being an incoherent word salad, but he seemed convinced of some sort of sinister government plot relating to linguistics and secret messages in words written all over his school. Paranoid Schizophrenics will latch on to whatever they've got around them and begin to see it if as some sort of sinister thing - and if they're already exposed to some sort of strong ideology or persecution complex to begin with I can see how it might become very easy for them to grab right onto that as well.

17

u/H37man May 24 '14

At least he is being downvoted.

Jesus Christ. How could anyone see him as anything other than the physical manifestation of narcissism. Seriously.

He simultaneously calls them stupid for fulfilling "Hedonistic pleasures", while being angry for not fufilling his own.

8

u/TheLadyEve May 24 '14

Even worse, here's the shooter's youtube channel

14

u/[deleted] May 24 '14

I wasn't being racist. I mentioned his race to make a point.

Bloody hell, on top of all the rest of it, he's an AdviceAnimals puffin.

4

u/linkseyi May 24 '14

Fuck that's disturbing.

3

u/neoriply379 May 25 '14

I've seen a few people trying to say that parents need to raise their sons to "understand that women are people and not objects" to avoid this from happening again. After watching this, I don't think any parenting would've fixed this Napoleonic complex-ridden sociopath. As awful as TRP may be, I am positive that none of them would ever consider doing this shit.

u/PhysicsIsMyMistress May 24 '14

Guys who are unsuccessful with women are often ridiculed

He's right about this. Perhaps we need to stop making fun of virginity.

9

u/INB4IGETBANNED May 24 '14

Yes, please do.

7

u/PeteyWonders May 25 '14

Well yeah, of course he's right about that. Honest question, have you ever seen anybody being made fun of for being a virgin outside of high school? Also, it's pretty tough to spot a person that is a virgin unless he/she's going around shouting, "hey everyone I'm a virgin!"

17

u/PhysicsIsMyMistress May 25 '14

It's not just a bunch of people around a locker in the hall laughing at someone for not having a girlfriend. It's

  1. Using comments like "sexless neckbeard" to describe someone. When a reader, who say is maybe in a dry spell, sees someone being called that, he probably doesn't feel good about himself.

  2. Comments on reddit calling someone who redditors don't like a virgin occur all the damn time. This way virginity is associated with something negative, and anyone reading it will likely see it that way. This occurs on other messageboards as well. (I bet at least one response to my comment here will be "spoken like a true virgin")

  3. Comedy movies and shows routinely portray someone who is socially awkward and bad at getting a girlfriend as the butt of the joke.

Face it, not being successful with "da ladies" is often portrayed as negative in our entertainment media and social media. And being a virgin is shamed even more.

5

u/odintal May 25 '14

have you ever seen anybody being made fun of for being a virgin outside of high school?

You haven't?

2

u/[deleted] May 25 '14

nah instead lets raid their safe space and accuse them of being monsters. LOLOLOL

1

u/[deleted] May 24 '14

sorry I'm confused. why did you link this and why is it relevant?

8

u/Axeman20 May 24 '14

The poster is the same guy we are discussing.

u/DualPollux May 24 '14

Pretty sure I've figured out why this guy's "Forever alone".

5

u/[deleted] May 24 '14

it's scary to think that a future murderer might be reading all this stuff and getting ideas.

Also:

I'd have felt more sympathy if he was treated like shit by people and not some twat who couldn't get women.

I can't recall a case of mass shooting where the perpetrator "was treated like shit by people". What are these folks even talking about?

7

u/[deleted] May 24 '14

I thought there was a lot of evidence suggesting that a lot of the school shooting were in response to school bullying, or that it at least played a part.

I know for sure that school bullying was brought up often in relation to Columbine.

16

u/[deleted] May 24 '14

I know for sure that school bullying was brought up often in relation to Columbine.

What most people don't realize is that the Columbine massacre had nothing to do with bullying. That was just media speculation. The perpetrators, Klebold and Harris, were bullies themselves.

The book Columbine by Dave Cullen explains that the real cause of the Columbine massacre was mental illness: Eric Harris was a sociopath and Dylan Klebold suffered from clinical depression. Absolute contempt for other people meets self-loathing and suicidal tendencies.

Every high-profile massacre I read about seems to be perpetrated by people with clear signs of mental illness. Virginia Tech and Sandy Hook come to mind. I highly doubt this recent one is an exception.

I'd like to say I can't believe the ugliness this has brought out of some of these dopey motherfuckers but I totally can.

1

u/[deleted] May 25 '14

I wonder what goes through people's heads that they think getting laid is the way to prevent these people from shooting people. It's not like that's gonna cure him of his psychopathy.

1

u/blackangelsdeathsong May 25 '14

Wouldn't he be considered a spree killer rather than being a mass murderer?

u/[deleted] May 24 '14

12

u/Honestly_ May 24 '14

This is UCSB, it's par for course (same for USC, UCLA, Pepperdine, etc). In fact, this incident and its perpetrator are strikingly similar to this 2001 UCSB massacre.

He also had a diagnosed autism spectrum disorder, so how he came off in person may have not helped.

u/VintageLydia May 24 '14

Which proves that the fucking "Rule 1: Be attractive, etc" bullshit isn't actually true, but what do I know. I'm just a stupid female.

I willing to bet that issues this guy had stem from the fact that he had all these things. He lived in neighborhood and daddy is in industry that embraces that kind of mentality and relationships. he excpeted people to love him because "I have nice car. money. I am good looking". Narcissism at it's worse.

"If I ain't getting what I want. Others will suffer"
