S02E23 - Unthinkable *Season Finale*
Episode Info: Slade moves forward with his plan to kill one more person in Oliver's life. While Oliver has fought all year to be more than the killer he once was, when Slade kidnaps someone close to Oliver's heart, Oliver is pushed to the edge and realizes sometimes it takes doing the unthinkable to stop the monster. Meanwhile, Diggle takes on Amanda Waller with a little help from some friends, and Thea turns to Roy in her time of need.Source: The CW

Until they had that announcement, I was wondering why the CW was holding out on giving out trailers for their new shows, considering the other networks had already done it.
This makes even the trailers seem like a TV event, so it's a good idea.

I do wonder how, when she obviously didn't die the first time, he actually believes her to be dead. He never even checked, ARGUS "saved" him. On that note, I'm fairly certain he's Suicide Squad in flashbacks now, and that Slade will be in the present soon; it was an ARGUS cell on the island, which I find interesting. Wonder how all that will pan out.

she's summer glau, so its more a question of how many episodes do they have the budget to put her in. if its 0 then she'll never be mentioned again, if its 1 then she'll re-appear as a hallucination or flash back, 2 or more and she's alive still.

Bronze Tiger was in the promo stills, but it looks like it may be a body double.Edit: Looks like that isn't meant to be BT. According to "Arrow Annotations":
Raven - Viv Leacock plays the other prisoner who Diggle and Lyla frees, who is named Raven in the credits. While there's a well-known Teen Titan named Raven, that character is female, and Leacock is male, so I doubt that's who he is. There are also several one-off villains named Raven, including an enemy of Robin, so maybe he's named after one of them.

The dumb part is that we, as an audience, know that he'll be fine (somehow). A poor cliffhanger in an otherwise perfect season finale.
To be honest, I don't think this show really needs cliffhangers to keep people coming back (like some other Walking Dead shows do).

Yeah, in the meta sense, it makes no sesne for him to die here. If he were to die here, he would just be dead, I highly doubt that they would just leave this cliffhanger and then kill Lance in episode 1 next season.

The Quentin thing was yet another cheap ploy by the writers to advance Laurel into the Canary role.
Since he got hurt trying to save her she'll be motivated to train so she can protect herself and the people she cares about.

I guess she almost-died the same way again so that Olivers initial testament about her in season 1 about how she died turned out to be almost true from his point of view. If my memory does not play tricks me, everything he seemingly said about how she "died" on the first boat now turned out to be true for the second boat as well. That was nicely done.

I know the chances of this are probably impossible, but how awesome would it be to have Hal Jordan on the show? Complete the snarky trifecta. Hal is such an integral character to both Flash and Ollie and responsible for so many hilarious character moments it would just be a shame to never see them together
