MOD Looking for Story Thread #217

This thread is where all the "Looking for Story" requests go. We don't want to clog up the front page with non-story content. Thank you!

Looking for a story where an alien hunting party lands on medieval earth, where after they kill a few lone humans, they are met and routed by a human army.

Looking for a story about a species being welcomed by human into the galactic federation. But the species try to make them selves look good by deleting their history of violence only for the humans to laugh and reveal that they're history is no secret

I'm looking for a story about a human being mistaken for an animal. It had an iteresting theme of magic technologi and magical beast. It starter with the human being atacked by a wendigo and being mistaken for an beast by one of the aliens. He is brought aboard like in any other story like it but a giraffe like alien realises that he is sapient. The giraffe wants to help him but she is seen as a prankster and isn't taken seriously. The alien doctor slowly realises it to but is worried that she will be prosecuted for imprisonment and mistreatment.

I'm looking for stories that relate to the idea of sci-fi human/humans going to a fantasy world and using there tech in some way to befuttle the natives and change the world they now find themselves in through human injunity and awesomeness.

something like going to a magic academy in power armor works fine and I wouldn't mind recommendations like that, but what I REALLY want to try and find is another story thats similar to sexy sect babes. I LOVED that story.

Looking for a story I read years ago

A human fleet comes to the aid of a world besieged by an extremist religious faction of a big federation when they wont help.

I know that the first part has a small human fleet that beats some much bigger alien ships through stealthy composite armour, then the main fleet drops in using stellar buoys.

When humanity lands troops there are various divisions, I know some of them carry close combat weapons from various cultures which i always thought was a dope detail.

  1. Does anyone have any stories where humans are really stealthy?

  2. Any stories about aliens being astonished by human balance?

(takes a while to develop; then a long while for the complete backstory of the protagonist)
